So, I love the Writer’s Corner. As a writer, it has been my place to find people like me and to talk about my books (I’m so proud of them). But I’ve noticed that the Writer’s Corner has sort of hit a standstill. [name_m]Not[/name_m] many people have posted anything too recently (including myself) and there just overall seem to be less of us than there once were. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, what suggestions do you have to bring the Writer’s Corner back to its full glory?
I’d just really hate to see it be abandoned, so I’m trying to gather the remaining Writerberries so we can discuss ways to keep it alive.
Thank you for reading this!

I totally agree! I usually stick around for the games these days, but even those have been a bit dead. Maybe if we get some new ones? I’ll try to think of some to start up.

Perhaps we could come up with a game where we’re creating characters? Names, bios, etc?

Maybe some writing challenges? It could help us with writers’ block as well (hi it’s me I have writer’s block!) Maybe a “name my character” thred where we describe our character and the next person names them, then describes THEIRS, and the next person names them, so on so forth.
Perhaps even backstory ideas and idea brainstorming when we’re struggling with a story concept? If you guys would be willing to reply, I’d be more than willing to get us started with some questions about my story.

@louise.solaris Go ahead! I’m willing to reply and I’m sure others will be too!
I’ve had this idea for awhile: you know the “name a character starting from the last letter above” thread on the [name_m]Baby[/name_m] [name_f]Name[/name_f] [name_m]Games[/name_m]? Well, I’ve only ever seen people use established fictional characters, never their own OCs. Perhaps we writers could make our version of that thread, except exclusively for our own characters.

[name_m]Brilliant[/name_m] idea! I’ll create a thread for that!
