1: divorced or widowed (roll for a new relationship)
2-10: still married
Engaged:
1-6: married
7-9: broke up (roll for a new relationship)
10: were married, but recently divorced or widowed (roll for children as if they were still married, and do not roll for a new relationship this round)
Courting:
1-4: married
5: engaged
6-10: broke up (roll for a new relationship)
Step 2: New relationships
Roll for new relationships for every unpartnered person over 18.

Step 3: Children
Men aged 20+ and women aged 20-46 can have children.
Number of children for unmarried people: You choose if unmarried people can have children. If yes, roll 12-sided die for each person. If you roll 2: they have one child; all other numbers: no children.
