what a lovely meaningful name :sunny: Love that your using variations of your loved oneā€™s.

Loooove the double middles on all of thesešŸ¤ this one in particular sounds straight out of a fairy tale- Rose is definitely charming and romantic and would go so well with your daughterā€™s name
and Christabel is a stunning meaningful name :face_holding_back_tears:

I adore both of these !!! your naming style is absolute perfectionšŸ¤ Iā€™m jealous!:wink:

love that both you and your SO played an equal role in choosing this name! Emily, Claudia, Tess and Annie make such a perfect set! :white_heart:

what a perfect set!! Especially fond of Lucy Mae :white_heart:

so many gems on your list! Loving Ivy, Maisie, Lavender and of course Sunniva Indigo :white_heart:

oh my goodness vivi what a stunning list! Eleanore Wildflower is precious and super cool. And Caroline Emrys ?? Your combos are perfect!

What a beautiful meaning!! Your whole list is so dreamy. Lilac Seraphine sounds like a storybook character :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Iā€™ve loved [name_m]Cagney[/name_m] since I was twelve!

I often wonder why one name goes to the top, say, [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], but not [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] but not [name_f]Thomasina[/name_f]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] but not [name_f]Eugenia[/name_f]. [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] is my absolute favorite 3+ syllable name. [name_f]Glad[/name_f] itā€™s underused.

today it would be something like thisā€¦

charlotte jane - something about this combo just keeps me coming back to it. not only is charlotte my all-time favorite name for a girl. jane also has a meaning which personally means a lot to me; god is gracious. jane is also a variation of john, which is my dadā€™s first name, so it could be taken as an honor name (although not really intentional). the nickname lottie is also just adorable :yellow_heart:

evangeline felicity - the name honors my brother, because his initials (fn + mn) are also e.f., the name also just fits in perfectly with the others. i also love the meaning of both names. evangeline means; bearer of good news and felicity means; good fortune. the name is just everything i could want in a name, i also adore the nickname evie.

matilda wren - honors one of my favorite books, and recently one of my favorite songs (matilda by harry styles). not only that, but it also has a gorgeous meaning; battle-mighty. i donā€™t think iā€™ll ever be able to put into words how much the name matilda truly means to me.

rosalie kate - thereā€™s not a whole lot of depth behind the name, mostly i just enjoy the imagery i get from it. i also think it works well with the other names, it has the same classic feel to it. in a way, i suppose you could say itā€™s a slight honor toward myself, although not intentional, rosalie is derived from rose which is a flower name, just like my own name (daisy). itā€™s also a french variation that honors my momā€™s side of the family, and just the language which i love to speak.

Clara Susanne: I love Clara. Susanne is to honor my mom.

Phoebe Marguerite: I love Phoebe. Marguerite is to honor a family member since it means Daisy in French.

Eleanor Reese: I love Eleanor. Itā€™s probably my 2nd favorite girls names after Stella. I wouldnā€™t use Stella and Eleanor as sisters because of the shared ā€œEllaā€ but I love it so much that I had to include it. I love Nora or Leni as nicknames. Reese is to honor a family member.

Stella Dawn: Stella is probably my favorite girls name but I wonā€™t ever be able to use it because I have a young family member name Stella. Dawn honors a family member.

I decided to ask my mom this question, too, and her responses did not disappoint. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Marmee is a great namer, I think. Here is her quartets of girls, two already born, two hypothetical.

[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (me)
Named for our maternal great-great-grandmother (Hazel) and our paternal great-grandmother (Elizabeth, who always went by Lil).

[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] (my sister)
Named for our maternal grandmother (Olivia) in the middle spot. Her first name is just one our parents loved, which happens to be a color and flower name, just like older sisterā€™s is.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]
Another color and flower name in the first name spot. Honors an important family middle name on Marmā€™s paternal and maternal sides (Louise)!

[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_u]Merit[/name_u]
Another color and flower name in the first name spot. Honors a family middle name on our Marmā€™s paternal side of the family (Merit), passed to generations for both female and male middles.

[name_u]Hazel[/name_u], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] :bouquet:

Weā€™d be a little garden of girls! Iā€™m really loving these names together, as well as this prompt. Oh, swoon!

[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
Allison/Alice [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_u]Ivy[/name_u]
I chose these names because they have the same beautiful, girly, biblical, frilly, and vintage feel to themšŸ’–

Lately, Iā€™ve been feeling these:

[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] - [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is one of my all-time favorites ā€“ itā€™s traditional and sweet, with a great meaning and a lovely ballet connection. [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] is for my mother. :two_hearts:

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] - [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is just an old-fashioned name that I really love, and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is inspired by [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables (very special to me and my mother and sisters), but I also really love its meaning!

[name_f]Silvia[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - [name_f]Silvia[/name_f] is a family name (one of my great-great-grandmothers), and it has become a new favorite of mine, as I really love to pull names from way back in the family tree. Besides, itā€™s graceful and elegant and old-fashioned, which is just my vibe. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is also a current obsession of mine ā€“ I usually prefer [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], but [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] seems so lovely right now! And I think it pairs beautifully with my [name_f]Silvia[/name_f].

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is a long-time love of mine, and I really love it as a way to get the nickname Nell/Nellie, which honors my great-grandmother. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is an old favorite of mine with a pretty meaning and a cool connection to Greek mythology. But, okay, the biggest reason I chose [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] was to complete the pattern I unintentionally set with the other three middle names!

This was hard for me and required a lot of thought. I decided to use some names I donā€™t usually talk about, which was fun!

[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f]- [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is a name my husband suggested that I had never heard before (but yall certainly have), I think itā€™s gorgeous and fits in well with a lot of different styles. I love it! [name_f]Junia[/name_f] is a nod to a family name, [name_u]June[/name_u], and [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] is just a fun flower name!

[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_u]Maven[/name_u]- I heard [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] in the movie [name_u]Love[/name_u] Actually, played by [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] Moniz. The way everyone says [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] in that movie is so pretty and I now associate Christmastime with [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] (as well as the sunflower season.) [name_f]Athena[/name_f] is getting really popular where I live, but I think itā€™s really pretty and makes a great middle name. I love the strong goddess feel. I got the name [name_u]Maven[/name_u] when I heard [name_u]Tracy[/name_u] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] talk about his daughter, [name_u]Maven[/name_u] on the Today show. I thought it was really pretty!

[name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]- This is the epitome of a ā€œbad@ss princess nameā€ IMO. I got [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] from (of course the goddess) but also [name_u]Allison[/name_u] Russellā€™s song of the same name. I donā€™t normally listen to country, so I took it as a sign to look the name up and see if I would be crazy for using it. And yes, I used rose twice.

[name_f]Marisol[/name_f] [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] [name_u]Sekani[/name_u]- [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] sounds sweet and strong at the same time, but I also think itā€™s a very peaceful name, too. The meaning also matches well with the other names on this list. [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] and [name_u]Sekani[/name_u] repeat the meaning and feeling of ā€œonenessā€ i feel from [name_f]Marisol[/name_f]. [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] is an honor for my brother, and [name_u]Sekani[/name_u] is as close as I can find to a name my husband heard in a movie.

[name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], and [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] :sparkling_heart:

Iā€™ve thought a lot about having a quartet of little girls! my nana was an only child, my mom was one of two girls, im one of three girls, so it only makes sense that my sisters or I would have four girls next! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

todayā€¦
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f] [name_f]Wrenley[/name_f] :butterfly: - a pretty perfect combination of my favorite styles, if I do say so myself. I love the free-spirited, adventurous, open-minded, dare-I-say boho feel of [name_f]Boheme[/name_f], then combined with the youthful, nature, modern [name_f]Wrenley[/name_f], it embodies everything I picture when I imagine how I want to raise my kids!

[name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Elidi[/name_f] :crystal_ball: - I recently fell in love with [name_f]Elidi[/name_f], as it feels like a sleeker, spunkier version of the lovely [name_u]French[/name_u] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], but Iā€™ve deemed it too close to my sisterā€™s name to use as a first. [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] has caught my eye lately, although sheā€™s been on my list for years! I love that itā€™s soft, but with a sharp -r ending, and the meaning gives [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] a starry, ethereal vibe!

[name_u]Nyx[/name_u] [name_f]Amity[/name_f] :lotus: - after the character from The [name_u]Owl[/name_u] House, so this name has an extra witchy feel! I love the nickname Nyxie; this name has the perfect blend of spunk, with the spicy X ending, and sophistication, with the mythological connection.

[name_f]Runa[/name_f] [name_f]Vyolet[/name_f] :fallen_leaf: - still toying around with the combo here (this was nearly [name_f]Runa[/name_f] [name_u]Zosime[/name_u] or [name_f]Runa[/name_f] Jasper) but ultimately, the wild, vibrant [name_f]Vyolet[/name_f] won. I just adore this spelling! I adore [name_f]Violet[/name_f] too but the Y gives it an edgier feelā€”I want [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as in [name_f]Vi[/name_f] from Arcane, not as a vintage revival, so [name_f]Vyolet[/name_f] wins. [name_f]Runa[/name_f] is a stunning, badass name, perfect for a main character, and just feels like the little spitfire who would round out a sibset of four!

bonus

so I was stuck between my favorite combo right now (Boheme Wrenley) and my favorite girlā€™s name (Rowan, currently combo-less), and since I donā€™t like them together (sound too similar, popularity too different), hereā€™s a bonus set without middles!

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] :deciduous_tree:
[name_u]Wilder[/name_u] :paw_prints:
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] :mushroom:
[name_f]Freyja[/name_f] :wilted_flower:

Iā€™ve been thinking about this prompt for a long time, but it was taking me awhile to decide. [name_u]Four[/name_u] little girls is my dream sibset!

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Astraea[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] :honeybee: :tangerine: ~ my favorite name + the greek goddess of justice & innocence + reminds me of my favorite holiday, [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]

[name_f]Callista[/name_f] [name_f]Io[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] :tulip: :purple_heart: ~ a long time name love (itā€™s in my username!) + my baby doll growing up + reminds me of comfort and peace

[name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] :dizzy: :blossom: ~ sweet and spunky like her sisters with a nickname I love + my favorite name as a kid, still love it now + a nod to my grandmother

[name_f]Suvi[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] :sunny: :herb: ~ my most recent favorite name + evening star + a nod to my favorite book

all middle names space + garden themed, because those are my two favorite things & I canā€™t help myself! :ringer_planet: :bug:

[name_f]Bee[/name_f], [name_f]Callie[/name_f], [name_u]Max[/name_u] & [name_f]Suvi[/name_f]

[name_u]Stevie[/name_u] [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]

-Stevieā€™s just too cool, like [name_f]Evie[/name_f] made zestier- I think of [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] & [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] Nicks; [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] is an honour, but I also love it masses

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Io[/name_f]
ā€œBiceā€

-Beatrice is one of my All Time Faves, but I went off it for a while- brought back by the Italian nickname ā€˜biceā€™ (Beee-cheee). [name_f]Io[/name_f] is just cool, and such a contrast w [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].

[name_f]Dido[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]

-Again with the classical references. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the sounds and itā€™s completely phonetic. Also rare that I like a ā€˜Dā€™ name. I love the ā€˜mā€™ ending on [name_f]Plum[/name_f], it sounds like a soft landing. I also love plums.

[name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]

-Oona has such a sweet meaning, and I love the look of the double ā€˜Oā€™. [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] is just so funny and irreverent, and Iā€™m of the belief that thatā€™s criteria enough.

This would be so awesome to have 4 little ladies. I would name themā€¦

Luella Kismet-Although sheā€™s a newer love, Luella has stolen my heart. I recently found out sheā€™s a family name as well which helps. The nickname Lulu is also a bonus.
Clara Sunday-The name Clara honors a very kind, selfless woman in my life.
Hazel Dorothea-I just love how spunky yet soft the name Hazel feels. Dorothea is just one I like but it does honor an ancestoral Dorothy.
Juniper Beth-I was torn on this last girls name. On any other day it could be Phoebe, Ottoline, or even something else but I just love how bouncy and youthful Juniper sounds. Also, I love the nickname Junie.

Lulu, Clara, Hazel, and Junie

Coming up with four girls is harder than I thought! I didnā€™t realize how much I like names starting with F

[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] ā€˜Frankieā€™- [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is vivacious, elegant, and has spunky nicknames which are all things I love! It also honors my Italian side. [name_f]Opal[/name_f] is my birthstone which is a cute nod.
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Fay[/name_f] ā€˜Viviā€™- [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is a name I go back and forth on but itā€™s feeling extra gorgeous lately. I think it ages pretty well. Iā€™ve always liked [name_f]Fay[/name_f] and it works as a middle for practically any name.
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]- [name_f]My[/name_f] beloved combo, itā€™s sunshiney, friendly, and sweet. [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] also honors my SOā€™s Turkish heritage.
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_u]Fern[/name_u] ā€˜Tibbyā€™- In the other direction, I like how itā€™s witchy and whimsical. I also really love how [name_u]Fern[/name_u] is an understated, gentler nature name.

Iā€™ve loved reading everyoneā€™s responses to this post! I thought I would struggle to find four names I loved together but it was actually easier than I expected.

Totally unrealistically, today Iā€™d name my fourā€¦

[name_f]Merrigan[/name_f] [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] - [name_f]Merrigan[/name_f] is a nod to my [name_u]Irish[/name_u] family, and the meaning being related to the sea is also an honour for my partner. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is for [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Lovelace[/name_u]. [name_u]Marie[/name_u] and [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] are both family names.

[name_f]Tallula[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Juna[/name_f] [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] - Another [name_u]Irish[/name_u] name, this time meaning ā€œprincessā€, an honour for a [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]. I love the meaning of [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] ā€œwished forā€. [name_f]Juna[/name_f] is after [name_u]Juno[/name_u]. I went to [name_u]Rome[/name_u] earlier this year and saw a statue of [name_u]Juno[/name_u] and the image of the female warrior really stuck with me.

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Alba[/name_u] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] - This was almost [name_u]Alba[/name_u] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] but I thought [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] fit better with her sisters. No special meaning really, I just really like it. [name_u]Alba[/name_u] is for my partnerā€™s native [name_u]Scotland[/name_u]. [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is one of my favourite plants, it is so calming and the colour is also my mumā€™s favourite.

[name_f]Cherish[/name_f] [name_f]Callidora[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Cherry[/name_f] - [name_f]Cherish[/name_f] is another name with a lovely meaning ā€œbelovedā€. [name_f]Callidora[/name_f] is a newer discovery which I thought was fitting as this many girls is definitely a gift! And finally [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is for my favourite gems.
