As for [name_f]Kate[/name_f], my mom, sister, 2 auntās, grandma and I all have different variants of [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] either as our 1st or middle name. [name_f]Kate[/name_f] isnāt one of them. It would link her to us while still giving her her own name. -

[name_f]Temperance[/name_f] is another long-term love. [name_f]My[/name_f] sister dislikes it which is why I havenāt used it. [name_f]My[/name_f] sister is into genealogy though and discovered a great great great grand aunt named [name_f]Temperance[/name_f] along with pictures and everything and it made me love the name all over again. Plus one of my favorite things to tell my kids is āall things in moderationā. lol [name_f]My[/name_f] mom has been begging me to use [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] since I started having kids almost 13 years ago. Itās finally started growing on me.

[name_u]Marian[/name_u] ___ - I have [name_u]Marian[/name_u] [name_f]Perdita[/name_f] in my UC, but realistically I donāt think Iād use it (realistically I donāt know if I would use both [name_u]Marian[/name_u] and [name_u]Anne[/name_u] either but 
) . I still love [name_u]Marian[/name_u] on its own though! Itās so gentle and pretty.
[name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] - This one is newer to my list but Iāve been really loving it lately! It flows so well. I also think it helps bridge the gap between [name_u]Anne[/name_u] and [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] (which are the same style to me but sometimes the difference in lengths makes me hesitate), making all four names fit together nicely!

Leonora is one of my parentsā favorite names, and what my little brother would have been named if he was a girl. Coincidentally, I did not know any of this when I fell in love with the nameāI first fell in love with it because of an amazing character in a TV show, who I still love immensely. Elizabeth honors family members, and many other people who have had a large effect on my life, as well as Elizabeth Bennet, one of my biggest fictional heroes.
Felicity Glenrose 
Iāll admit, I first fell in love with Felicity because of her 
vibes , but she also means good fortune or happy, which is such a simple but beautiful concept. Glenrose is an honor for my dad, grandfather and (favorite) brother, all of whom are amazing people. As a bonus, Glenrose has that cottagecore feel that I love.
Maud Wisteria 
Maud is for Lucy Maud Montgomery, a woman who Iāve never met, but whoās had a big impact on who I am today. Wisteria comes from the lyrics in the Taylor Swift song, the lakes, āI want to watch wisteria grow right over my bare feet/cause I havenāt moved in years.ā I love these lines, and this song in general, because Iāve always wanted to have a place in my life thatās just peace, tranquility, and nature. (if that makes sense, haha)
Daisy Evangeline 
Daisy is a stretchy honor for my little brother, who was born in April. Itās also a subtle nod to my favorite Taylor Swift song of all time, Youāre On Your Own, Kid. The meaning of Evangeline, bearer of good news, has been stuck in my head for the past little while, as I feel like we could all use some good news from time to time, and I know that my future daughter would be that good news for me.

evangeline willa ruth 
evangeline has been my favourite girl name for a long long time! my grandfather introduced it to me when we were going through our family tree together. my mom later mentioned how if i had a daughter, i could name her evangeline, and the name has never left me. it also ties into my [name_u]Christian[/name_u] faith. it also honours my two best friends and their mom, who is so important in my life. willa is an honour for my uncle, and ruth is for my wonderful mom, as itās her middle name. i also adore ruth from the Bible, and the book of ruth is one of my favourites. the meanings āgood newsā and ācompassionate friendā are just lovely.
beatrice amelia melrose 
beatrice is a fairly new addition to my shortlist. my mom loves the name beatrice, and i was nearly named beatrice. i adore all of the possible meanings, āblessed; she who brings happiness; voyagerā. i love the nickname bea. amelia is another name i found in my family tree, but iām afraid is a little too popular for me to use in the first name spot. melrose is for a place thatās very special to me, where iāve spent some of the best parts of my life.

judith is for my grandmother, who means so much to me. i love the meaning of judith, āwoman from judeaā. the nickname jude is so sweet. i love so many names that end in -th, but judith has been my favourite for so long. i could really see this on a future daughter of mine. philippa has been a name iāve loved for a long time. jasper is another thatās been one of my favourite girlās names for so long. sheās been one of the only names to stay at the top of my girlās list through all of its changes over the years. it feels very perfect for a future daughter of mine!
