Baby Berries due January-March 2022

@eshe7fantasy, popping in here from my duedate group to say so so many congratulations! You were the first to welcome me to the TTC2016 group (where @minxtruck was as well) and I definitely remember seeing you around Nameberry. It sounds like quite a long ride for you TTC but I am so glad to see you’re finally here and wish you the happiest and healthiest of pregnancies!

Haha, hello fellow TTC2016er! It’s so crazy to think back to where I was in 2016 vs today. Everything happens for a reason and I’m so glad I’m TTC for #1 this year with the person I’m supposed to start a family with. Hoping to join my own due date group in the not too distant future!

Thank you @minxtruck and @hyacinthbucket ! I do remember both of you

Sad to say my intuitions were right.

I had severe cramping last [name_m]Thursday[/name_m] and had an emergency scan [name_m]Friday[/name_m], followed by a confirmation scan today; the baby had no heartbeat. Sadly the baby stopped growing at 8w3d.
Despite not ‘feeling pregnant’ and some anxiety, it has really hit me sideways as I had a such a straightforward pregnancy with my son, and am generally an optimist. Feeling very numb and just trying to process it at the moment.

[name_u]Will[/name_u] be ducking out of this thread, and wishing you all the best with your pregnancies and for the future.

I’m so sorry, thinking of you and your family during this time :pray:t2: :pray:t2:

So sorry to hear that and I hope you take the time you need to look after yourself and your family. Thinking of you all.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all! I’ve never joined a moms group on here though I’ve stalked the name boards for what feels like many years. I’m 13 weeks with #4, due end of [name_u]January[/name_u] (but assuming early [name_u]February[/name_u] because my last 2 babies were late). Looking forward to getting to know you!

I’m officially in my 2nd trimester and feeling very relieved to be here  No more morning nausea, food aversions, or poor appetite! I have a slight craving for meat, which I suppose can classify as “salty” indicating a boy in that “salty vs sweet” old wives tale :woman_shrugging:t2: [name_u]Will[/name_u] find out the sex in less than a week now!

But I am feeling more urgency to pee. They say this symptom is common for the 1st and 3rd trimester, so I’m not sure what this means to be feeling it now  I’m also having round ligament pain/cramping which always makes me nervous but it’s very mild.

I’ve only gained 1 pound from my pre-pregnancy weight (actually, I had gained 2, but lost 1 at the beach this weekend from so much activity :unamused:). Hopefully I start gaining the amount baby needs soon!

How is everyone else? Any updates lately?

Hi @Elle1 thanks for checking in! I am feeling a lot better too - 15 weeks today.

In my experience every trimester I have the urge to pee , but you could look into pelvic floor strengthening exercises, it might help.

I’ve had all the seafood cravings!

Soooo today we got our sneak peek gender test back and it says GIRL! Our last pregnancy said it was a boy which was wrong but I think I can trust this one a little more - at least I hope so! I plan to get no scans unless it seems necessary, so we will find out at birth!

Most importantly- What names are you all considering?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! Congrats to the new joiners! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] we can all chat more as we get further along!

@Elle1 so exciting to find out the baby’s sex so soon! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a “feeling” either way? Also lots of round ligament pain here, such a weird one!

We are team green I think…we have an ultrasound in a couple of weeks when we could find out but I think we’ll choose to wait. [name_f]My[/name_f] SO loved that emotional moment of finding out when our daughter was born (I was a little out of it in the moment!) so he’s especially keen to have that again.

@OliveShoot do you have a name short list? I think about names all the time but SO reluctant to actually discuss and thinks most of my names are “a bit out there” so hoping we’ll make more progress once we get into the second half of the pregnancy! sounds like between you and @Spark we already have a girl majority going on! :heartbeat:

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all! Sorry for being awol for quite some time. It’s been really rough (plus, I also got married in July) so I haven’t had the time to properly concentrate on even being pregnant. We were referred to a specialist after the initial NT reading. The second ultrasound revealed that the fluid had gone back quite a bit, which was a relief. We then got our triple test done, with the blood test, and that put us back in the “low risk” category. That really helped me feel a little less stressed. Unfortunately, I cannot forget that very first scan, so I haven’t been properly able to “enjoy” my pregnancy. I don’t feel 100% secure in it yet and worry all the time that something will go wrong. We have a 16 week scan booked, instead of the more usual 20 week. Hopefully that will reveal nothing awful.

[name_m]Just[/name_m] in order to feel a little bit safer, my husband and I shelled out quite a bit of money for a NIPT test. That’s a non-invasive blood test that looks at chromosomal abnormalities. It will also reveal the sex of our baby, which is something I am very much looking forward to.

I’m now in my second trimester, which feels INSANE and feeling a little more secure. Our NIPT result should come through in about 5-7 days, so until then I can’t do much.

Glad I’m not the only one with that symptom  And thank you for the tip! I’ve been doing kegels, but not regularly. I just googled some other exercises, so I’ll start working those into a routine

Congratulations on your little girl!!! May I ask, were both your tests done at home? I’m so paranoid about a false result with Sneak Peak, that I paid a little extra to have my blood drawn at a clinic. I’m hoping that will make it more accurate!

I’m pretty set on Drücilla for a girl :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I have 2 boy names that are my top contenders, but I think I’ll be taking a short list to the hospital, meet him, and then decide what fits him best. There just doesn’t seem to be 1 boy name that fits with everything I’m looking for!

Yes, so excited! I had the results emailed to my SIL and she got it last night! I feel very strongly that it’s a boy. I will be shocked if it’s a girl  Team green sounds so exciting! Do you have a feeling either way for your LO? And did you have a feeling or particular symptoms that made you think your daughter was a girl beforehand?

Congratulations!!! :tada: :tada:

I’m so happy to hear this!!

Hoping for the best and that you’ll be able to enjoy the pregnancy more when all the results are in :pray:t2:

So pleased to hear this, I have been thinking of you. not surprised you can’t relax though, hopefully the next scan will reassure you more. And congratulations on the wedding! What an emotional rollercoaster by the sounds! Look forward to your update on the sex too, exciting!

@Elle1 is she organising a gender reveal celebration for you? I don’t have a super strong feeling but I unconsciously refer to baby as “he” a lot which makes me feel like we have boy vibes this time. I didn’t have any indicators with my daughter (except in retrospect I craved sweet and dairy by old wives tale standards) but perhaps my vibes were confused by the fact that everyone else was convinced I had a ‘boy bump’ at the time even down to strangers on the street! She…was not a boy

At 18 weeks now and getting lots of little wiggly movements which is so nice :blush:

Well, the plan was for her to organize it… But she’s in the middle of a move and I already have a tendency to micromanage plans  So all she’s in charge of is putting the right color onesie in a gift bag and bringing it to the restaurant lol. But she’s the best person to be the secret keeper because I don’t see her between now and the event, so there won’t be any slip ups!

Hoping this one holds up and I’m having a boy :crossed_fingers:t2:

Yay!! How amazing!!

A little late for announcing on this thread but I’m having a GIRL :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I hear the heartbeat again this week, really looking forward to that!

So far, I believe, we have 3 babies with known genders and they’re all girls!
