CAF With a Twist đź’–

[name_f]Elanore[/name_f] “Mimi” [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] (5) is the sweet little neighbor and Avi’s closest friend. [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] is the funny, bold one of the two young friends, who always knows what to say to help [name_u]Avi[/name_u] feel braver. When [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] first met [name_u]Dani[/name_u], she was extremely jealous. Avi’s cousin and him are very close, and [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] felt left out. But quickly [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] became a close friend of [name_u]Dani[/name_u] too.

[name_f]Mimi[/name_f] lives with her grandparents, [name_u]Jerry[/name_u] and [name_f]Celine[/name_f] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], and her 4 older siblings. [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] is the youngest and wildest. Her grandparent’s house backs up to a huge ranch, and she spends most of her time exploring the huge field and barn. She likes bringing [name_u]Avi[/name_u] with her, and they spend a lot of their time finding bugs and hiding under trees. She is trying to convince her grandparents to let them camp out in their backyard someday, because she knows [name_u]Avi[/name_u] really wants to go camping. While the two of them don’t go to the same school (she goes to a private catholic school), [name_u]Avi[/name_u] is the person she spends most of her time with. The kids at her school just “don’t fit”.

Her grandparents are concerned she doesn’t have enough friends. They don’t know if it’s because she is young and has a strange personality, or if its because of her siblings, who can be mean, and all remember their parents, unlike [name_f]Mimi[/name_f], who was only 1 when they died. She is very strong-willed and has crazy ideas about the world, and spends her time dancing in nature singing and making up stories. Her siblings think she’s crazy, but she thinks they’re the crazy ones. At school, her only friends are [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f], who both hang out with her mostly because their older siblings are friends with Mimi’s older siblings.

Avi’s parents and Mimi’s grandparent’s are close and they enjoy watching their shy kids express themselves and have a good friend. Many summer nights are spent grilling and sitting on the porch watching the kids chase fireflies around. The two families are always taking photos and laughing, saying “We’ll be showing these at their wedding someday,”.
