Miranda Hope McDonell (15) is the last of the McDonell siblings. She hated being the youngest for 10 years, so she was ecstatic when Sophie was born.
She is also artistically inclined, with a special interest in tattoos. She also likes to build/invent things and figure out how things work, so her favorite subject right now is Technology. That may also be because the Tech teacher is the coolest, smartest person she knows. Miranda hangs out in her classroom during study hall, and she keeps bugging the principal for an after-school Tech club, or at least a STEAM program, but apparently the budget is super tight.

She is definitely more popular than [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] but she is very level-headed and modest most of the time, but one thing she is really proud of is her horse riding achievements.

Cormac’s birth occured when [name_f]Laura[/name_f] was only 17 and his biological father , [name_m]Denzel[/name_m] , died shortly after getting into a coma as a result to duck diving into a swimming pool which wasn’t deep enough for this kind of action to be safe. [name_f]Laura[/name_f] struggled raising a toddler alone, as this incident occured when CJ was only 2 years old. Eventually , even though his parents were strongly against it, [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] [name_m]Williams[/name_m] - a friend of [name_m]Denzel[/name_m] 's who was at the pool party that night but wasn’t able to discourage Deznel from his idea because they were both way too drunk - offerred to become an uncle figure to CJ. [name_f]Laura[/name_f] agreed because she felt like [name_m]Josh[/name_m] was the only person who could truly understand her grief. This mutual understanding and their goal to move on from the grief in order to make [name_m]Denzel[/name_m] proud - by still going to university and then continuing education via graduate school - paid off. CJ really loves his half-sister and supports her in everything she does , especially her horsebackriding achievements. He also developed a rather witty nature with a good sense of humour and throughout university years, where he gained new friends and stopped paying attention to what people thought about him. As such, his middle school bullies’ theories about no girl wanting him turned out to be false - he actually dated 2 other girls within the first year of university before he met his current, stable girlfriend. He doesn’t know it yet, but she is going to announce to him next week that she’s pregnant, after she comes back from visiting her family in Wisconsin. For some reason, she feels it in her heart that it will be a son, even if she’s no more than 7 weeks along according to her gynecologist.

kimberly mary edwards (23) was a girl cormac dated during his first year of uni. She loves to go to the gym and she has a lot of commitments like church, dance, choir and her job so often she did not have time for cormac, or had to rearrange dates so in the end they just ended up becoming friends after cormac opened up that he had met someone who he liked. luckily for kimberly, she had a boy who was in her choir, her church and worked with her at a fast food place, so they began dating and this year kimberly got engaged to him.

Sara Vivienne Martin (1,5 years old) is Helena 's niece from her younger brother’s side.
She lives in America with her parents and her mom is fully American, although you can often spot her babbling in French due to her dad’s influence.
Sara has a simple yet international name that works in both languages and a French middle, so grandparents from both sides have no problem remembering her name.
Helena is her favourite aunt and she always has a smile on her face when being babysat by her and Maxim. Helena often sings her songs in French and loves reading to her , also trying to convince her brother to go with Sara to their childhood hometown - Peillon , so that Sara could see farm animals and pet them, as well as reconnect with her heritage. Even though Sara 's father and his girlfriend became parents when they were only 23 , Sara is a daddy’s girl and he loves her daughter more than anyone. He is excited to become an uncle now that his sister is pregnant and was very happy when Helena told him that taking care of Sara makes her more confident in her journey to become a mother.

He is an employee at the city’s sandwich shop, 8th Street Subs. and [name_u]Beau[/name_u] are good friends as well and both speak French but [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] is Belgian, not French and also knows German and Dutch. His relationship with the [name_u]Dayton[/name_u] family is mostly smooth and while he and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] are technically exes, they only dated for less than a year before college and are better off as friends. He was the one who convinced [name_f]Sissy[/name_f] that his brother is a criminal and helped her leave him and has tried to get as many other girls he found away from his estranged brother. His last name at birth isn’t really [name_m]Hendricks[/name_m] and actually changed it to disassociate from his brother when he found out about what his brother did. She owns a florist’s shop on the 8th [name_f]Street[/name_f]. She is grateful for the fact that [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] sometimes helps her out when she has busy days. Most importantly, she is grateful for the fact that thanks to him, [name_f]Sissy[/name_f] got out of an awful situation. She remains emotionally distant from her sisters , always being the shy one who doesn’t open up easily to others. She is closer to her husband’s family and got married when she was only 21, making the marriage between him and her 11 years long. They have 3 children - two sons , aged 10 and 8 and a daughter aged 6. [name_f]Lara[/name_f] is the closest to [name_f]Mia[/name_f] , especially now that she gave birth to [name_m]Manny[/name_m] and [name_f]Lara[/name_f] babysists him regularly. Clarence Edward Bandini (91) is Lara’s favorite customer at her florist’s shop. He comes in every Sunday to pick out a bouquet for his wife Camellia, who is in a nursing home now with Alzheimer’s. Camellia doesn’t recognize him anymore, except for rare moments that Clarence treasures, but no matter what, he wants her to feel special and loved.
Clarence has done a little bit of everything in his life. He was born during the aftermath of the Great Depression and lost his dad and brothers during World War 2. He served in the military himself for a brief time, but it brought up too much trauma and grief (for him, his mother, and his sister), so he literally ran away and joined the circus. That didn’t last long, either, so he moved on to factory work, construction, plumbing, book publishing, selling cars, and stand-up comedy (boy, did he have a lot of material for that).
When he met Camellia in his 30s, she was an up-and-coming singer and actress, and it wasn’t love at first sight, but he enjoyed her performances very much, and he wanted to make sure she knew. So he started bringing her flowers. They became friends, nothing more, for years, and by the time it blossomed into something else, Clarence had finally found the career he would stay in for decades: hosting a radio show. Naturally, he used his platform to gush about Camellia whenever she came out with a new song or movie, and some people say he helped her become a global success. “No,” he tells them, “she did that all on her own. She’s as bright as the stars, that one.” He still calls her “my star” or “starlight”, and even with her fading memory, it brings Camellia the biggest smile every time she hears it.

She never married but was engaged at one point to a man who would die in World War II. She had already had enough tragedy losing her younger brothers and after losing her fiancé, she decided she couldn’t marry someone else. She was overjoyed when she found out Clarence was alive after running away and supported him in whatever career he was in. [name_f]Marta[/name_f] had been making clothes for some time but wanted to make clothes more expressional so she became a fashion designer. She is the creator of Camellia’s wedding dress. She and [name_f]Camellia[/name_f] get along very great as in-laws and she would design her costumes. She loves her brother’s radio show and was pleased to be featured on it from time to time.
Marta’s self-named fashion design shop [name_f]Marta[/name_f] Bandini was a popular attraction in historical 7th Street but closed when [name_f]Marta[/name_f] was too old to work and did not want to pay the rent anymore. However it is still available online. Marta is anti-fast fashion and does not support overworking employees in unsafe factory conditions. Lara’s husband has a side-gig managing her fashion website’s design but does not say it is a side-gig whenever Lara’s family is around because he does not want to Lara’s family to get the wrong idea and think he’s struggling to make ends meet.

Aurie’s greatest pride is her little sister, [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. She has an undiagnosed disease that affects her behavior, so although she is nearly 21, her mind is that of a 10-year-old. However, with that innocence comes an amazingly sweet spirit.
