Elsa Rose Fletcher (16) is Rishi’s best friend and fellow member of Bandgeekz. She is very musically inclined, playing the piano, guitar, trumpet, violin, and clarinet, her favorite being the clarinet.
Ever since her mother passed away six years ago, Riya has been like a mom to Elsa. Though she hates to admit it, Elsa spends more nights at the Deshan’s than at her own house.
Elsa, like Rishi, has only sisters. Her oldest sister, Amara, is nineteen and engaged. Then is Isabela, fifteen, whom Elsa is closest with. Elsa was eight when the youngest, Odessa, was born. Unfortunately, the age gap and her father’s favoritism toward Dess has caused the two to always be at odds.
Elsa has her superstitions of why her father favors Dess. Likely, it’s because she was the only one of the four sisters to inherit their mother’s blonde hair and blue eyes. Their father seemed to cling to everything that reminded him of his dear wife after she passed away.
When her mom died, Elsa turned to music as her main comfort. However, as a teenager, she has turned more to boys. Recently, she found out that she is pregnant with her boyfriend, Bruce, and is scared to tell him more than anyone. She knows how upset he was with Cayde and Aria’s situation, and is a close friend of Cayde’s.
