[name_f]Hannalise[/name_f] " [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] " [name_f]Malke[/name_f] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m] (34) knows [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] through associations; she’s the partner of [name_u]Dacy[/name_u] and Lane’s older brother and is a mother herself, to a 6-year-old adoptive girl. By no means does she want to ruin the friendship of [name_u]Asa[/name_u] and [name_u]Lane[/name_u], she feels [name_u]Lane[/name_u] needs to do something to motivate herself, but she’s worried if she’s in the right spot at the moment given relations. She is the sister of [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_m]Kirk[/name_m], so she knows something about the dangers of addiction and tries not to be ignorant, just that she doesn’t want the pain on her child. She supports his recovery although she’s gone on and off over her opinion of him as a parent. She won’t intervene unless the children are in danger, which they’re not, it’s just that she tried to reach out to him when he was kicked out but he wouldn’t tell her he was a father-to-be at the time. So she was shocked when she learned that [name_u]Asa[/name_u] was hiding this but [name_u]Asa[/name_u] told her that he knew she would be dissuading about not putting the child up for adoption if she knew he was a teen father. She’s secretly glad [name_u]Lane[/name_u] isn’t the mother of his children but she wonders if she has been too pushy against her family and relates to [name_u]Lane[/name_u] on that internal worry. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and her partner are very close and plan to have a life partnership while giving their daughter the best life. She and [name_u]Asa[/name_u] are on good terms even though they’re not as close, being [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] is 12 years older and much of her focus is on the child. She’s a doting mother to her adoptive daughter and she is very true to her partner as well. She’s always been pro-adoption and the decision to adopt was in both parents’ best interest. She’s also pro-privacy, something she is supportive for [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] about, and agrees [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] and [name_u]Dacy[/name_u] will be great parents to their own child. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] works in movies too, being a screenwriter for the films and working closer with [name_u]Dacy[/name_u] and [name_f]Suki[/name_f] during Gasps of [name_f]Air[/name_f]. She didn’t know about Suki’s former crush on [name_u]Dacy[/name_u], but after seeing it through, she’s glad everyone is happy at least and there’s no bitterness.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and her partner admit they’re not as good with babies as [name_u]Dacy[/name_u] and [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] might be, a reason why they’ve chosen to adopt a kid instead. Another reason was because they felt in their now-daughter’s eyes that she needed them. She needed someone and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and her partner wanted to be her parents. To have that feeling, of knowing you can change one’s life for the better, and having an opportunity to do so, is what motivates Hannah’s life. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] isn’t super forceful on her religion to her child, but she’s a proud Jew, celebrating Hanukkah with her daughter and with some Jews in her community. She’s no gambler, but rolling a Gimel on the dreidel and getting all the chocolate coins is always a feeling of victory! She’s introverted but has a good vibe with people she trusts and really respects [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] and [name_u]Dacy[/name_u] because they’re people who understand her a lot. She’s excited for her first night of Hanukkah but for the afternoons, she loves to do more leisurely stuff like walking in the park or sewing - stuff she enjoys all year long.
[name_u]Happy[/name_u] Hanukkah to those who celebrate! ![]()
