[name_u]Chase[/name_u] & [name_u]Marley[/name_u] are fraternal, and unlike [name_u]Leo[/name_u] and [name_f]Liza[/name_f], [name_u]Marley[/name_u] is the more outgoing one while [name_u]Chase[/name_u] is a little bit shier. This actually works out well for the friendship between the two sets of twins, as when they met the Burkelaw twins, [name_u]Marley[/name_u] gravitated towards [name_f]Liza[/name_f] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u] gravitated towards [name_u]Leo[/name_u], and vice versa. The shier ones enjoyed having another friend who could help them be brave, and the more confident ones enjoyed having another little sidekick. Still though, [name_f]Liza[/name_f] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u] are good friends who like to read and draw in the corner while [name_u]Marley[/name_u] & [name_u]Leo[/name_u] like to run around and go crazy.

[name_u]Chase[/name_u] and Marley’s parents, [name_m]Geoffrey[/name_m] “George”, & [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] are very close with [name_f]Amy[/name_f] and [name_f]Charla[/name_f], liking their creative and kind personalities. [name_u]Chase[/name_u] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u] are their only children, but they plan for more in the future. [name_u]Chase[/name_u] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u] do want more siblings, but they love each other more than anything. Whether it’s coloring, jumping around on the playground, or playing with trucks and dolls, [name_u]Chase[/name_u] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u] are doing it together. [name_u]George[/name_u] and [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] are grateful for twin group for support and also so that [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u] have more friends besides themselves (not that there is anything wrong with being friend’s with their siblings). [name_f]Liza[/name_f] and [name_u]Leo[/name_u] have playdates with [name_u]Chase[/name_u] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u] all the time, and they are always asking when they are coming back to play. This halloween, [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u] went as little angels to match the little devils, [name_u]Leo[/name_u] and [name_f]Liza[/name_f]. The Burkelaws and Hennigans took their kiddos together, and the twins had so much fun!! Unlike [name_f]Charla[/name_f] and [name_f]Amy[/name_f], [name_u]George[/name_u] and [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] hope that the angelic behavior becomes the twins’ normal!

She’s always been passionate about children and knew from a young age that she wanted to be a mom. She met her husband, [name_u]James[/name_u], in college, and they fell in love. After getting married, they were thrilled to welcome their little girls, whom they welcomed in an home birth that [name_u]James[/name_u] actually delivered them by himself (just before the midwife arrived), into the world. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is a stay-at-home mom and spends her days playing with her daughters, reading them stories, and going on adventures. In her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, and knitting. She’s loving, caring, and always puts her family first.

He works as a sonographer - he is a specialist in making the USG examination and often works with pregnant patents, having actually had many patients who were pregnant at the same time as [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and ended up also joining the twin group - including [name_f]Charla[/name_f] and Ms. Henningan. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] jokes that given his job , she never has to get jealous of [name_u]James[/name_u] because she knows that his patients are for the most part already taken.
[name_u]James[/name_u] has been in many situations sorrounding labour and delivery because of his job , but still delivering his twin daughters in a home water birth was very stressful for him , especially because one of the twins seemed particularly weak upon arrival into the world and needed medical help associated with jaundice. Fortunately , the nurse was able to assist with that and the weaker twin was taken to the hospital shortly after the midwifes arrival while the other stayed with parents so as to have her first feeding session. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u] were initially heartbroken about the situation , but also thankful for the professionalism of the midwife.

James’ biggest hobby is gardening and so he tries to convince [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] to start looking for a part-time job and hire a nanny to look after the 2-year-olds, so that they can move from their small [name_m]Vermont[/name_m] apartament to a house with a garden and get a dog. Unlike [name_f]Charla[/name_f] , [name_u]James[/name_u] actually gets the "snootines " of getting a purebred dog and would like to purchase a border collie puppy so that he can attend dog shows and train dog sports like agility with him. [name_u]James[/name_u] has always been very competitive and wants both his plants and future dog to be the best, while also being the best provider for the family that he can be. He is also on excellent terms with Mr. Hennigan and they often talk about planting vegetables and caring for plants together. Mr. Hennigan and his family already have a blue merle border collie and couldn’t be happier with their breed choice. It’s from Mr. Hennigan that [name_u]James[/name_u] got the breed recommendation , and he always takes the older guy’s advice in life, respecting his experience and frendliness.

[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] + [name_f]Samara[/name_f] [name_u]Shea[/name_u] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] (2) are [name_u]James[/name_u] and Tessa’s twins, who’s arrival in the world wasn’t easy, however their parents know this has only made their girl’s stronger. [name_f]Samara[/name_f] is the one who required additional medical assistance following delivery, and [name_u]James[/name_u] in particular admits he sometimes has to restrain himself from being overprotective when she’s trying to explore the natural world. His gardening enthusiasm has manifested in how both girls’ are totally unphased by mud and bugs, always wanting to get stuck in when they’re at the park or going to the local allotments where [name_u]James[/name_u] has a plot.

In spite of being identical, the girls’ are also a little less intertwined than their friends, aside from their enthusiasm for gardening. [name_f]Samara[/name_f] likes helping her mom about the house, be it trying to fold the washing or preparing meals, while [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] has a preference for building with lego and any blocks she can get her hands on, usually wanting some independence. While Cassia’s more at ease around strangers, there isn’t a leader of the pair either, as once [name_f]Samara[/name_f] settles into a situation she’s very friendly and usually leads her sister around to say hi.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Rimona[/name_f] [name_m]Dunstan[/name_m] (17) is [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] and [name_f]Samara[/name_f] 's nanny. She is a kid herself within and loves hearing from [name_u]James[/name_u] about his garden and plants just because of how much she loves nature. She is a naive and soft individual , which unfortunately let to her heart being broken by a guy recently. Her brother , [name_u]Axel[/name_u] , , tried to intervene and beat up the guy but fortunately [name_f]Grace[/name_f] 's brother talked him out of it. [name_u]Alex[/name_u] isn’t exactly quick to make rushed decisions , but the way he reacted to [name_f]Grace[/name_f] 's ex taking advantage of her feelings really showed her that he does care ven though he is the " annoying brother" who always made fun of her cutesy style in her teenage years and joked that she hasn’t grown out of preschool. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is grateful that her other brother - adopted from [name_f]China[/name_f] , who is exactly the same age as her even though they came home a year apart - that he talked [name_u]Axel[/name_u] out of beating her ex up because he might really have ended up in trouble.

She has a new crush on a boy from her class , but [name_u]Axel[/name_u] quickly noticed and proposed that she takes a job as a nanny to occupy her mind with something else. It proved a good solution to the problem because for now [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is absolutely smitten with [name_f]Samara[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassia[/name_f]. She also loves nature and gardening much like [name_f]Samara[/name_f] does and lets her explore the natural world with less overprotectivness than her dad. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] also often builds lego blocks with [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] and even wants to buy adult lego or sign into her highschool robotics club because the whole " building stuff from scratch" is a concept that appeals to her - and actually part of the reason why she meticulously plans her outfits.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] appreciates the extra cash that naturally comes with being a nanny and thus being able to go out for bowling or ice cream more often with her friends - recently she invited her bestie for ice cream after she felt bad for having introduced her to her ex. Then, the girls watched " Mean girls" , " Legally blonde " and " [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] " , having managed to forget about the boy entirely. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] 's family is glad that she was able to handle the whole situation psychologically and are thankful to the [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] family for employing her.

[name_f]Caris[/name_f] wanted [name_f]Grace[/name_f] to pursue her crush but she’s glad [name_f]Grace[/name_f] isn’t worried about that now - she now feels [name_f]Grace[/name_f] needed more time before getting back into the dating game. [name_f]Caris[/name_f] is openly lesbian so boys weren’t on her mind but she naturally disdains girls who act like “boys suck” and other immature misandrist statements. [name_f]Caris[/name_f] loves to watch magicians on YouTube and she likes to see optical illusions. Riddles are another thing she enjoys especially ones that focus on perspective. [name_f]Caris[/name_f] still has a fun side for chick flicks and she too gets easily comforted by lighthearted ways.

[name_f]Caris[/name_f] loves to talk to Grace’s family and enjoys her siblings too. For a long time, [name_f]Caris[/name_f] has stated she wanted to adopt children when she was an adult and at the time she felt ready to be a parent. She never thought she’d have a best friend who was adopted and she wants to hear from the other side on what it’s like. Her view on this is indefinitely stronger but she still wants to just enjoy juvenile life, finding it literally rejuvenating. She finds [name_u]Axel[/name_u] a good inspiration too. She knows all the Dunstans well, especially from times she’s come over to Grace’s house. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] Jiřina Sobota (17) is Caris’ girlfriend and the ‘voice of pessimistic advice’ - a title coined by the boyfriend of her best friend. The eldest of three siblings, [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and her brothers are from a Czech-American family whose ties typically are based in blue collar work, something that drives Sienna’s own value and interest in socialism. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Caris[/name_f] met because of their individual interests in forming an LGTBQIA+ group at school, somewhere for queer students to meet and feel safe expressing themselves, which they managed to get instated after bartering with the photography club about sharing the same room for meetings on alternate lunchtimes.

Politics are absolutely where [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] wants to focus career wise, given her family background and the absolute intolerance she has for injustice, surprising people with her moral drive thanks to how she isn’t the sort of person to be drawn towards optimism at most given moments. Also sharing the same cynical sense of humour of his děda, Davey’s more enthused about physical activities: namely wrestling, which he has a natural talent and passion for. It’s an interest he got from his great-uncle (the brother of his maternal grandfather), who actually worked as a promoter until his retirement in 2008, and he was thrilled to have a relative to likewise pick up this interested.

Compared to his put-together older sister though, [name_m]Davey[/name_m] feels directionless sometimes. He knows making it as an athlete is difficult in any field, and doesn’t want to seem like he’s banking on a pipe dream, fearing being seen as reckless. This isn’t entirely unfounded, as [name_m]Davey[/name_m] had a habit of getting into fights when he was in middle school, which has made his parents a bit more protective and wary where he’s concerned, having an impulsive side his siblings both lack.

There’s also the fact Davey’s developed a crush on a girl he has several classes with but approaching her feels impossible: she’s a cheerleader and comes from a middle class family, who he knows might not be accepting of the Sobota family, or worse, could see him as trying to use her for money. While tis absolutely isn’t the case, Davey’s never ignorant to the world around him, and the prejudice class can carry, never mind xenophobia towards immigrant families. His best friend is insistent he tries though, as he [name_m]Davey[/name_m] tends to be too hard on himself, and doesn’t believe in certain great qualities he has.

[name_m]Matt[/name_m] is the eldest of seven siblings - [name_f]Caris[/name_f] being the second youngest.

[name_m]Matthew[/name_m] is someone who is definitely competitive and an overachiever , so in many ways a complete opposite of [name_m]Davey[/name_m].

He himself wanted to be a wrestler when he was a young adult and therefore he neglected his work at university studying political sciene and often overtrained despite advice of his coach to act to the contrary. He ended up damaging his achilles hill to the point of having to undergo surgery. His girlfriend at the time - now the mother of his two beautiful children , [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u] and stepmother to the son he had with his highschool sweetheart, now a 14-year-old boy acquainted with the youngest Sobota brother - told him to take it easy and stop being so hard on himself or she will call off the engagement. [name_m]Matt[/name_m] didn’t want to lose his girlfriend so he quit wrestling all together - figuring out that if he can no longer be the best , then there is no point in trying to return to the sport at all. He gave everything he could to earning his Master’s Degree in Political [name_u]Science[/name_u] and then became a Social Studies teacher at the local school and the custodian of the Journalism Club at the school of which [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is the head. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is one of [name_m]Matt[/name_m] 's favourite students even if he tries not to show it and thinks that she’s a little too idealistic about socialism, especially for someone whose parents come from a former Soviet Union tributary state like Czech Republic . He knows a thing or two about the dangers of the one-party system or centrally planned economy from his wife, the mother of [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u] , who is 2 years his senior and knows about the life in communist Poland from her parents. [name_m]Matt[/name_m] loves his wife dearly - despite the fact that they met when [name_m]Matt[/name_m] was in his 2nd year of college out of 5 and she was in her 4th year, she always was happy to lend him notes , recommend professors , have interesting conversations and treat him like a mature human being - unlike his parents, who badmouthed [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] for breaking up with the mother of his first son and to this day have trouble accepting the fact that he decided to share a life with someone completely different and an immigrant - no less.

This is why [name_m]Matt[/name_m] 's parents have minimal contact with [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u] , clearly showing favoritism towards Matt’s older son and seeing him marry the Polish woman as a " power play " against their desire for [name_m]Matt[/name_m] to have an ideal life which wouldn’t allow them for controversy among conservative neighbours. Similarly , they criticize the fact that [name_m]Matt[/name_m] , like his neighbour and fellow father of twins , [name_u]James[/name_u] , is interested in a " feminine " hobby like gardening and that he bought a border collie puppy for the family at the request of his wife and children - claiming that [name_m]Matt[/name_m] is becoming a " henpecked husband".

[name_m]Matt[/name_m] tries to distract himself from his hectic private life by being involved in teaching and due to [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] 's interest , he wants the Journalism Club to make an article about the differences between socialism , communism and social democracy , which contrary to popular belief are three completely different systems. In the afternoons he likes to train the dog sport agility with his border collie , Taco and going out with his guy friends , including [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] and two others. His now-wife is worried about him becoming emotionally unavailable to her despite having an amazing relationship with [name_u]Chase[/name_u] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. His parents would be completely overjoyed if they knew - but they are too busy listening to gossip about the new partner of [name_m]Matt[/name_m] 's ex.

Co-parenting her son from a distance is something Mr and Mrs Hennigan greatly find a disappointment, as their bizarre notions of somehow forcing a reunion between [name_f]Vida[/name_f] and [name_m]Matt[/name_m] is always squandered by the fact the former won’t play ball in terms of feeding the delusion and showing any interest in retreading the past. Working as a planning permission inspector means that [name_f]Vida[/name_f] chose to move to a larger city, where her career could flourish and she could ensure her son was provided for as much as he deserved [and honestly she didn’t want to deal with the meddling of her exes parents any more].

A lot of this intense longing is tied to who [name_f]Vida[/name_f] is the daughter of: her father is an influential and successful business developer, who carries weight in name alone. Vida’s fairly certain the Hennigan’s would happily have had she and Matt’s son take her name for clout purposes, but she refused the suggestion. Having grown up with people merely wishing to befriend her for status and access to a wealthy lifestyle, the cynical and reserved personality she’s developed is something [name_f]Vida[/name_f] wants to spare her son from. What she wants is a him to enjoy his life without pressure, however the behaviour of his paternal grandparents consistently gives her a headache and makes her increasingly reluctant to allow her son time around them, as she’s loathing the idea of a divide emerging between him and his younger siblings.

Of course the fact Vida’s partner is a woman has naturally ignited the gossip machine of the Hennigan’s, who are speculating she must be going through a phase or crisis [which of course only [name_m]Matt[/name_m] could save her from if this were true]. It’s not surprised her in the slightest to hear these claims and rumours, but as per usual, Vida’s kept her head down and merely kept looking forwards instead of lingering on the whispers. The main source of escapism for her - when she isn’t going on trips with her son, specifically to art galleries and museums as they love discussing history together - is running, which she jokes is learned from her own parents having to flee terrible dinners back in the days of their youth.

[name_m]Cordian[/name_m] [name_m]Eros[/name_m] Hennigan [ 14 ] is [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] 's and [name_f]Vida[/name_f] 's son, well into his cringy anime phase. His first name means " heart " and the other is after a Greek god of love because whilst giving birth to him [name_f]Vida[/name_f] was filled with the love hormone oxytocin and everything that came to her head that night - [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] was born at 2 AM in the morning - had to do with love , especially to [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] , who [name_f]Vida[/name_f] was convinced at the time would be the person she’ll marry and spend the rest of her life with. However, major character differences between the competitive [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] who was always wiling to debate and " never go to bed angry" while [name_f]Vida[/name_f] was a lot more low-key and didn’t mind solving arguments a day or two later - which , given her avoidance of conflict often turned into giving [name_m]Matt[/name_m] silent treatment - well, it all meant that [name_f]Vida[/name_f] and [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] 's relationship came crushing down.

[name_m]Cordian[/name_m] remembers a lot of his parent’s arguments growing up , as much as [name_f]Vida[/name_f] tries to shield him from it. This made anime , manga and drawing in the style of Japanese animation his escape route for as long as he can remember. He finds it draining how his paternal grandparents still hold onto the relationship with his mother and him not for the reason of love , but wanting to gain clout and notoriety from the Bannermore surname. He hopes that [name_f]Vida[/name_f] and her female partner won’t plan a baby together, or probably his paternal grandparents would act like they’re the grandparents of the half-sibling too just because they’re a Bannermore.

[name_m]Cordian[/name_m] tries to steer clear of her mother’s new partner , ever since he heard her call him an " immature baby" for his interest in manga and anime. Along with the youngest Sobota brother - who’s just turned 14 a few days ago - [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] a member of the school’s anime club and one of the " otaku kids " there. He appreciates his mother for driving him every week to Japanese classes in town and for enthusiastically listening when [name_f]Vida[/name_f] tells him about the clubs projects. [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] in turn goes with [name_f]Vida[/name_f] to art galleries , although he isn’t sure if his mother tries to figure out a way to get rich independently of her father by becoming an art collector or is just looking at the art because she likes it. He knows that [name_f]Vida[/name_f] ‘s partner would rather she does the former , as she says " That’s what all the old money families do". His reputation at school as the " anime nerd" greatly overshadows any " rich kid " stereotype that [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] could have attached to him , especially because his dad [name_m]Matt[/name_m] works at the same school where [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] learns and everyone can see that Matt’ s just a regular guy. He tries to be involved in the lives of [name_f]Marley[/name_f] and [name_m]Chase[/name_m] , although he admits that [name_m]Matt[/name_m] 's new wife has an intimidating quality and is restrictive in terms of how much screen time [name_f]Marley[/name_f] and [name_m]Chase[/name_m] get , so [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] can’t really show them all the Pokemon videos that he would like to. Recently though , [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] and [name_m]Matt[/name_m] 's wife gained more understanding between each other becoming worried about [name_m]Matt[/name_m] focusing on his guy friends very much and becoming emotionally unavailable to almost everyone but the twins.

[name_m]Cordian[/name_m] tries to stay out of the family drama by being active in his Japanase classes and anime club as well as hanging out with the Sobota siblings - whom he plans to introduce to his newest girlfriend of two months - [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] , the 14-year-old sister of the popular podcaster , [name_f]Suzette[/name_f] [name_f]Bizou[/name_f] , who recently quit her podcast after everyone figured out that the 4 podcasters were talking about [name_m]Beau[/name_m] Jeong and decided to support him by giving him a chance after all when the hate started pouring in for [name_m]Beau[/name_m]. At the same time when [name_f]Suzette[/name_f] quit the podcast crew , [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] quit her secret band which disbanded due to personality differences. Joining the anime club instaed gave [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] some emotional support after an extended period of sadness following the disbandment. Athena’s also the kind of person who believes in the importance of space, so she didn’t want to intrude on Elaine’s newfound romance or make anything awkward too quickly.

Languages and travel have been enjoyed by [name_f]Athena[/name_f] from an early age. Once she finishes school she wants nothijg more than to go abroad somewhere to backpack and has always promised [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] can come with her - although with [name_m]Cordian[/name_m] now in the picture Athena’s considered it might no longer be possible, which does bum her out privately. Named in tribute to her maternal grandmother, [name_f]Patricia[/name_f], [name_f]Trish[/name_f] really hated her name growing up, as she found it made her stand out for all the wrong reasons: see people asking why she had a made up name. It was only as she grew older, and learned of how her granny’s life had been cut tragically short in a riding accident that she came to embrace it.

In a decision that surprised some, Trish’s husband took on her surname when they married. Like [name_m]Hunter[/name_m], Dulcie’s relatively new to the film industry, having gotten her breakout by starring in an indie short - Bus Station - a year ago. This was after a lot of participation in small budget shorts, which were a mixed bag for [name_f]Dulcie[/name_f]: some of them were amazing experiences, while others were dominated by stress and chaos. She doesn’t hold anything against the people who had more tumultuous shoots, as the circumstances were difficult at best for producing a film, however the transition to a cohesive and calm environment isn’t something she’ll ever complain about, especially as it lets her focus on crafting her performance skills.

Surrounded by performance artistry, [name_f]Dulcie[/name_f] lives with successful musician [name_f]Charity[/name_f] Metcalfe, alongside their two rats: [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] and [name_m]Bernard[/name_m], the latter having been named by [name_f]Dulcie[/name_f]. Being a film director based anywhere else than Los [name_f]Angeles[/name_f] was a difficult decision - and [name_f]Bobby[/name_f] 's wife wishes he didn’t have to fly there as often as he does. Thirsk [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] Nowark (26) is Bobby’s nephew and Cam’s brother, who tends to be a more mysterious figure than his sister in the eyes of most of the family. A childhood being pushed in certain directions by their parents - then criticised for not meeting these unclear expectations or showing other interests - has made Thirsk an introverted person, who’s much harder to get to know than his easygoing sister. This doesn’t hinder his work as a web designer though, and he’s been living in [name_f]Holland[/name_f] since graduating university thanks to a job offer he couldn’t turn down for an international indie magazine.

‘Rehab’ is actually a code developed by the siblings to keep some privacy for themselves. It wasn’t pot that led to [name_f]Cam[/name_f] spending time away but her struggles with self-worth and fear of failure, something started by their parents insistence her path in life wasn’t valid, just a means of ‘rebelling’. She ended up deciding to spend time in a mental health facility to overcome this, opting to go to a [name_m]Dutch[/name_m] facility so she and Thirsk were close during this time, as her brother knows better than anyone what the pressure of being told to change can do to you.

Where their parents are concerned, Thirsk is clear he isn’t interested in reconciling currently, and - as is known by his sister, her fiance [name_m]Yannick[/name_m] and his closest friends - isn’t sure that day will ever come. He loves his uncle dearly but knows his dad hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with [name_f]Bobby[/name_f] about how he spoke to Thirsk and [name_f]Cam[/name_f], actively belittling their interests if they didn’t match his vision, while their mother preferred to be more passive aggressive.

Of course the stereotypes surrounding [name_m]Amsterdam[/name_m] aren’t unknown to Thirsk - not that he’ll claim he hasn’t gotten stoned in his time - but he’s also pretty confident his father overplayed Cam’s purely recreational smoking to be some crippling addiction…maybe as another way of dealing with the guilt.

No, not the reason, but a reason. He feels his father [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] was too worried about the possibility of [name_m]Cam[/name_m] having “a dependency” to marijuana because of similar stuff in Eduard’s life. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] was a former painkiller addict, and although the painkillers were prescription and not illegal, he did end up having a bad reputation over this. He’s been to actual rehab himself and he’s been clean for 3 years now, even having a “sober day” he celebrates for the anniversary of when he first got off the dependency. He was 24 when he stopped, the same age [name_m]Cam[/name_m] is now, which makes [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] wonder if that’s another reason why [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] compares Cam’s situation to his. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] was feeling the heat from some family members, with [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] wanting him to meet up with [name_m]Cam[/name_m] and Thirsk in person more, but his uncle and aunt refusing him seeing their children. [name_m]Ever[/name_m] since they cut contact with their parents, [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] has been contacting both online, through the phone, and even just snail mail, but his father’s desire for an in-person reunion is yet to happen. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] worries that this could cause more drama but does want to be there.

[name_m]Eduard[/name_m] supports Thirsk and [name_m]Cam[/name_m] being so close and tries to be closer with his own brother. Eduard’s brother supports him, but growing up together was hard when [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] developed juvenile arthritis in his early teens, made even more of a setback after a misdiagnosis. He was given more attention then growing up which later became a source of scorn and disappointment when he became addicted to prescription drugs over this. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] feels bad now knowing how his brother had to feel with the changing environment that he brought on. At least [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] was very supportive although Eduard’s aunt and uncle accused him of all sorts of terrible things when he went down his path of addiction. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] feels the misdiagnosis has made him more factually aware, which is why he disdains Bobby’s initial assumptions about [name_m]Cam[/name_m], but also supports [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] for being so kind to him. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] doesn’t struggle as much as he did in teenage years but uses more topical solutions to treat pain in adulthood. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] has had a few roles in movies which is why he feels his aunt treated him like “a cute actor who turned crazy from drugs”. He despises how people still blame former child actors for these things but has given up on talking to his aunt, especially since she invalidates what he says anyway. She thinks his views can’t be correct because “he was on drugs when he made that statement”. Despite the fact he’s openly clean and not on drugs, although he’s used to people saying he’s still “on” something. People accuse him of being drunk too, even though his real main drink of choice is tea!

[name_m]Eduard[/name_m] is currently a new writer for a long-running TV series and he often feels awkward trying to keep the show fresh but also staying in tune with where things are headed. He helped fix a plot that viewers thought was “seasonal rot” in the show and he’s glad he can genuinely make it better, being very character-focused. He’s never stated whether he’d be on a screen again or not but he’s happy focusing on what he has. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] is in no position to move anytime soon but he would love to know [name_m]Dutch[/name_m] culture from Thirsk and is glad Thirsk took the opportunity knocking at him. His relationship with [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] is mostly good but he can be hyper-careful about trying not to “steal” attention from his brother and adoptive sister. He uses some of it for help however, when he comforts [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] but lets him know [name_m]Cam[/name_m] and Thirsk are okay. He doesn’t quite get along with his uncle, despite being more at odds with his aunt, but he’ll reluctantly accept [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] having a relationship with his uncle, since it’s Bobby’s own brother. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] himself feels he will have to focus on his relationship with his own siblings first. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] isn’t married but he doesn’t blame [name_m]Cam[/name_m] for the elopement and sends well wishes to her and [name_m]Yannick[/name_m]. [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] is a fan of experimental music and has playlists all about that. He likes to focus on making his life better but also likes to simply enjoy things without a care.

She is Cajun and her parents adopted her from [name_f]Louisiana[/name_f] as a baby. She has always been doted on by her parents, especially [name_m]Bobby[/name_m]. [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] was named after the protagonist of [name_m]Ridley[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m] 's film Alien because of the protagonists determination , quiet courage and bravery which compliments rather than contradicts her femininity and maternal instinct. [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] faced a lot of preassure as a child to " fit in " with her family. She was charismatic and smiley so it was automatically assumed she’d be a great actress or entertainer ever since she turned 5. It was her aunt - [name_m]Cam[/name_m] and Thirsk 's mother - who pushed and pushed [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] 's parents into " exploring her charisma " to the point where [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] ‘s mom felt basically forced to get her to child actress castings , child beauty pagents and other activities meant to make an entertainer out of [name_f]Ripley[/name_f]. It wasn’t [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] herself who suffered for it. She remembers most of those events fondly and when she won a few times she had the opportunity to smile cutely and show off, which she loved. It was however the preassure her mom faced from other kids’ moms who insisted [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] 's pageantry should be taken more seriously by her mom that the preassure eventually started to get to her with [name_m]Cam[/name_m] and Thirsk’s mom making things worse constnntly by bashing Mrs. Nowark for " wasting her daughter’s potential". [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] remembers being overscheduled , her mom crying in the dressing room on her way to acting auditions and her understanding of the toxicity of this situation getting better and better by the day, espeically as [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] 's busy schedule started taking away from the attention paid to [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] and [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] ‘s other brother, making [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] the antagonist in her brothers’ eyes. The only thing [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] really wanted to keep doing was to still play the piano , an activity that didn’t have the requiremenet to show off and took the mental load off [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] 's mother. She considers her piano teacher her mentor and plays frequently in jazz bars mostly attended by the [name_m]Black[/name_m], Creole or Cajun communities. She doesn’t tell anyone about those events because she is worried her parents might show up and embarass her with cheers. She even opened up to her mentor about how she feels guilty about not really wanting a career in entertainment or otherwise and rather thinking of being a stay-at-home mom. [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] 's parents love her highschool boyfriend and are happy that they survived high school , but she doesn’t know how they would react about [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] wanting him to propose and have children. As for now she makes a modest income giving piano lessons to kids and playing occasional gigs. When she received a request from [name_m]Cam[/name_m] to play at her and [name_m]Yannick[/name_m] 's future wedding , she told [name_m]Cam[/name_m] that it’s only if her mother is not there, as the conflict between [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] 's mom and Cam’s mom gives both young women too much pain. [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] [name_f]Shiloh[/name_f] Dartmouth (28) is someone [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] knows of pretty well, and she actually is a bit of a source of teasing for [name_m]Eduard[/name_m], although [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] herself is currently oblivious to this. Being one of the actors in the long-running show he writes for, Uphill Stream, she’s worked with him closer since the new processes for writing were introduced, and has more awareness of the struggles he’s faced than many of their colleagues. Like [name_f]Ripley[/name_f] and [name_m]Eduard[/name_m], [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] began her career young, with commercials being her entry point at the tender age of six, after her mom was recommended to take her along to auditions by a parent at the school she was attending.

The subsequent years were hit and miss for [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f]. She left acting for several years between the ages of 11 to 18, after finding herself unhappy with the projects she was getting cast in: it was always overly twee, sugar coated stories that didn’t make you feel good but instead downright sick, and the disingenuous nature of the people working on them worsened the Stepford esq nature of production. Similar to [name_m]Eduard[/name_m] and Ripley’s mother, [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] saw her mom faced with unfair demands by certain directors, who expected her to encourage [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] to abandon any interests that weren’t acting, and this led to a lot of emotional exhaustion for Ms. Dartmouth, who raised her daughter as a single parent.

Leaving the industry is what [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] credits for her reentry after she graduated from high school, and she quickly established herself anew by focusing on the sci-fi and western circuit, participating in a lot of whacky indie projects that weren’t high budget but way more fun than the old sets she was exhausted by. [name_m]Even[/name_m] now she has a significant role in Uphill Stream - as tomboy resident [name_f]Becca[/name_f] Spearing - [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] continues appearing in the unique circuit, more recently having starred in a thriller. While her first name is [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], she prefers being called [name_f]Eden[/name_f], going so far as to work under the name [name_f]Eden[/name_f] [name_m]Harding[/name_m]. [name_f]Eden[/name_f] comes from the elite [name_m]Harding[/name_m] family, which have been a household name since the 1950s. Her great-grandmother, [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_m]Harding[/name_m], started this trend of stardom— she produced and acted in a show called The Girls of [name_m]Pine[/name_m] [name_f]Street[/name_f], a female-focused show that took Hollywood by storm. Outside of Hollywood, [name_f]Eden[/name_f] is on her school’s debate team and is friends with most of the people there. A lot of people were surprised to see Eden’s eloquence— she’s much too aware of the “actors are dumb” stereotype— but it only served to win her friends. That’s why most of her social media is private; she would hate to see her friends get targeted by tabloids and rabid fans alike. She’s also crushing on one of her friends big time, and is teased endlessly for it. She would never tell anyone, though, as she’s afraid that’s the one thing she has no experience with.
