Does anyone else like the name [name_f]Eupraxia[/name_f]? I honestly think think itās such a cool name and the nn [name_u]Pax[/name_u], [name_f]Xia[/name_f], Prax or [name_f]Ria[/name_f] make it so much more appealing to me (I usually donāt care about nicknames but itās always nice to have one just in case)!

I actually quite like [name_f]Anita[/name_f] and [name_u]Joan[/name_u]. I get where youāre coming from with the old lady thing. I know an [name_f]Anita[/name_f] and sheās in her 70ās. It seems very young and springy to me, though. [name_u]Joan[/name_u] is just a sweet southern name thatās always been cute to me.

I know! It made me sad, but also learn to not take too much stock in other peopleās opinions. Everyone has different life experiences 
Iām personally not really a fan of [name_f]Esther[/name_f] but it seems the farthest thing from a stripper name to me. I canāt imagine where that comes from unless they were referring to the one How I Met Your Mother episode where theyāre discussing baby names.

Yeah, [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is definitely most associated with the Bible and actually has a serious and intellectual vibe to me.
Also, and this is not directed at your comment or the original poster because you were referring to a specific incident, I feel like calling names āstripper-ishā or whatever is extremely classist. We can say a name is gaudy without denigrating sex workers.

Joan is my grandma.
Names that are too āold-ladyishā now are going to be coming back in a few years when everyone is honoring their grandmothers. I mean, the names that are ultra-popular for babies now and we canāt picture them adults are going to be āmom-namesā eventually!

@carlene.denae [name_u]Joan[/name_u] is a bit of a warrior name in my opinion ([name_u]Joan[/name_u] of [name_m]Arc[/name_m]). Iām trying to see [name_f]Anita[/name_f] as a cute, spunky Spanish diminutive, rather than [name_f]Barbara[/name_f] and [name_f]Diane[/name_f]ās bridge-playing buddy.

There isnāt a name that I associate less with strippers than [name_f]Esther[/name_f].
Itās a very average name where Iām from but slightly unused I must say. Itās only gaining popularity now due to a Spanish actress and I actually love people are giving it the recognition it deserves.

Iāve always quite liked [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] (or whatever spelling)! I used to know one and he was always really nice. And I love the nickname [name_u]Jay[/name_u]! 
[name_f]My[/name_f] only problem with it is that I think it would constantly get confused with the similar [name_u]Aiden[/name_u], [name_u]Kayden[/name_u], and [name_u]Hayden[/name_u].
