The final student in the 8th grade class is a great friend to everyone. He is always very friendly and approachable. This student also has down syndrome, but he doesn’t let that hold him back in any way. He sits by new people at lunch every day so he can meet more people in his class, and he always will sit by anyone who might be eating alone. He and Mr. Knowles have a special handshake they do in the mornings.
