The Wonderfully Brave Girls

Top 5 (in alphabetical order):
[name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f] - I love her strength and mysterious allure. She really does hold up the best next to [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f]
[name_f]Guinivere[/name_f]/[name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] - I find the sound of [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] so, so beautiful, but I think I’d stick with [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] for the imagery. The romantic, adventurous vibe this name gives off is both unique and fabulous
[name_f]Hypatia[/name_f] - She doesn’t seem to be getting a lot of love on this thread, but I think she’s great. Strong and feminine.
[name_f]Morgana[/name_f] - In a vacuum, she is by far my favorite name on your list. To me, she doesn’t pair up the best with [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f], but the couple isn’t bad either and I really don’t think it matters all that much. Hauntingly stunning.
[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] so charming, I want to see her stay on your list. I get both heart-tugging adorable and commanding strength from this name sensations from this name - such an interesting combination! So good.

Runner-ups:
Bellicent - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f], but couldn’t quite make the top 5. Definite middle name material!
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] this name, but I’d wait to use another Greek -e name again until after you’ve had another baby without one. You said you wanted something different, and I think this is a bit too similar
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f] - A childhood favorite of mine, but I think she might be better as a middle
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] - She was probably the closest to actually making it on the top 5 list. To me, she gives off a similar energy as [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f], but she’s just a tad more girly. Plus, like [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f], she’s just soo much fun to say.

[name_f]Lavender[/name_f]; I say ee-ZOL-duh. It’s one of my longest name loves, I’ve always found it beautiful and her story is gorgeous too.

Character; thanks! Nice top five. I think [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] is too much too, I just threw it in there really…

[name_f]Nina[/name_f]; [name_f]Boudicca[/name_f], I’m trying it out!

[name_f]Amy[/name_f]; No, I’m mad with you now. FRIENDSHIP OVER. Haha, only joking… You’re entitled to your opinion (and I always value it), just wait until I send you pictures of a little [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] and you’ll change your mind! [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f] did change in my mind, now don’t judge me, but I did some meditation and I managed to connect to her. I get tons of water, almost a bit [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] like, definitely an underwater thing. But I see beaches too… I’ll explain when we get to the combos, as she’s sure to make it. I don’t care about same initial letters that much, it’s a preference but not a necessity. [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] and [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f] also feel incredibly different to me, and they’re not the same sex. [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f], I got a connection to this one too, which is why she’s back! I know you love her. Ditto [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]. I’m surprised [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] made your top, she seems to be everyone’s favourite! [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] (and [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]) appeals to a different side of me. The women who have no choice in what to do, but dare to cross that line for true love anyway. I feel that’s one of those incredible kinds of bravery, when you place your life in danger for a few stolen of love. Oh, anyway. [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]… the problem I have with this one is that she would basically rule out [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] as she was his Mama. And I went back to Nimue instead of Niniane. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t judge me too hard here, I’m bipolar so I’m allowed to change my mind. A lot. Thank you so much for going through all of that and being amazing!

Southern; you’re spot on! And thanks for picking out the others, happy to see you choosing some witches…

[name_u]Unique[/name_u]; thanks for the list! I don’t think [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] was evil. She was a spy, a woman who did what she thought was right, and [name_m]Samson[/name_m] fell in love with her. Not her fault he told her his secret.

Averella; thanks for the comments, well done!

Casilda; thank you

[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]; I do know who Berengaria was, and she was amazing, but the name is a little too hard for me I’m afraid. thanks though!

[name_f]Dina[/name_f]; Eek, good top five! [name_f]Love[/name_f] that you picked out [name_f]Vashti[/name_f], it’s such a special name and the namesake, just wow. [name_f]Love[/name_f] your story too! So [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]'s your husband’s favourite, huh? Good good. He’s got nice taste! I love that you show him my list, nice to get opinions from Mister Dindle! She does need a bad a** name, doesn’t she? poor little thing… You picked out [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] too? It’s almost universal… goodie for me! And [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f], I see her on the top of a cliff too!!! [name_m]How[/name_m] cool. Thanks for your opinions and words, and thank husband too please!

Namelover; I don’t know any [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]'s! They’re rather rare over here… Thanks for that top five, it’s wonderful and I love your little words to go along with them.

Greyer; Thanks! I do love [name_f]Artemisia[/name_f],but Husband thinks it’s too frilly. [name_f]Artemisia[/name_f] has a few good namesakes, [name_f]Artemisia[/name_f] Gentileschi being one of them. I’ve always been intrigued by her (I studied art history too). I also love [name_f]Artemisia[/name_f] I of Caria, she was a naval commander in ancient [name_u]Persia[/name_u]. I agree with you about Aradia, that’s some of the imagery I get as well. [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] is the home of the gods, yes, and also the mother of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] the Great! [name_f]Zena[/name_f] [name_f]Bee[/name_f] would be a cute nickname.

koralreef; thanks!!

[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]; thanks, great names. I love [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], it feels so windy and out riding on horses to me.

[name_u]Sierra[/name_u]; not crazy about [name_f]Helen[/name_f], but I do like [name_f]Helena[/name_f] a lot! I might use it as a middle.

[name_f]Sari[/name_f]; I’m sad [name_f]Pandora[/name_f]'s out too. I’m sobbing a little, but I’m allowed to use her as a middle!! Yay!

Sorceress; [name_f]Leontine[/name_f], Belphoebe and [name_f]Zephyrine[/name_f] are still middle name options, these are only the ones I’m considering as first names.

Gummibear; nah, she didn’t. And if she did, they had it coming. If a bunch of brutish men came to my peaceful island demanding food and drinks (and probably other things as well) I’d turn them into animals as well. Anyway, the island she lived on was full of plants if eaten/chewed/drunk would have a certain effect on you that would make you… pretty much behave like an animal.

Redrobin; thank you!

[name_f]Mckayla[/name_f]; thanks so much!

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]; very helpful. Yay for [name_f]Circe[/name_f] love! It always makes my heart jump when people like [name_f]Circe[/name_f]! You don’t think [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]'s my thing? Not witchy enough? Hmmm… Thanks sweetie!!

Update to come, if anyone read this and want to say something before I do, we’re adding Proserpina to the list.

Sorceress; Leontine, Belphoebe and Zephyrine are still middle name options, these are only the ones I’m considering as first names.

Well, names I like I think it would be good first name runners, so just check them.

Top 5:

[name_f]Circe[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
Hecate
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f]
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f]

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] or [name_f]Antigone[/name_f]?

It’s not that I think they don’t go well with [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f], it’s that some of your choices don’t feel like they can hold their own with a name so atrong and beautiful like that.

Though, I am totally rooting for [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f] and [name_f]Morgana[/name_f]. I feel both these names have great history and an appropriate length to feel like the perfect sister to [name_f]Dita[/name_f]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are strong and independent enough to be their own person alongside [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f].

Otter: yeah, sorry if it’s upsetting, but [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] seems 50-70% yours while [name_f]Circe[/name_f] is 100%. If you use [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] for nickname, that’s [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] but I somehow don’t get these vibes from [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. I know that’s bad but I prefer [name_f]Gwenore[/name_f] spelling, [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] is so mystical…I am puzzled. I see you love [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] but [name_f]Circe[/name_f] beats it. You have all wonderful, absolutely gorgeous names but I feel like [name_f]Circe[/name_f] is THE one, I don’t know why. Maybe because it looks like clever, smart, witty enough, sophisticated but friendly woman to me.
Yay for Proserpina, it’s beautiful and offbeat, again shared love. Not [name_f]Circe[/name_f], but maybe #2 or #3.
Sorry for off-top, I just remembered how we both think of [name_u]Angie[/name_u] while seeing [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]. Fun!

Ooo I think [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] and Proserpina go supper well together too. [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and [name_f]Dita[/name_f]. It’s got a mythical connection without it being super obvious. So [name_f]Morgana[/name_f], [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and Proserpina.

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] - I feel like she’s too matchy with [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f]…two A names and from the same pantheon, plus there are cases of animosity or at least division between them. I love [name_u]Artemis[/name_u], but I feel like [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] has ruled her out.
Aradia - I would make an exception to my anti-alliteration tendencies for this name. Aradia sounds like radiant starshine and dark purpley shadowed woods. [name_f]Love[/name_f].
Bellicent - I’ve done a complete 180 on this name. In the beginning it turned me off because Google brings up all these warty hag images. But then I thought it over. It’s like a smush of [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] and Maleficent!
Bradamante - [name_f]One[/name_f] of my least favorites. There’s just nothing feminine about this name…when I look at it, I see [name_m]Brad[/name_m], [name_m]Adam[/name_m], and the word man.
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] - spunky, fresh, and turquoise blue
[name_f]Circe[/name_f] - is [name_f]Circe[/name_f] [name_f]Olwen[/name_f] Tinuviel back on the table? Because I think that is a fabulous name for a winter babe
[name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f] - I have already professed my undying love for [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f] many times, so you know she’s in my top five
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] - lovely name, so liquid and fun to say…not sure how I feel about sisters [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]…the pairing seems to take things in a very seductress-y direction
[name_f]Electra[/name_f]/[name_f]Elettra[/name_f] - Not as thrilled about her as I am some of the others. Like [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f], my reaction is rather lukewarm.
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]/[name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] - of the two I prefer [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], and over [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] I prefer [name_f]Morgana[/name_f]. [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] is beautiful though and perfect for an Imbolc baby…all my images are very white and ethereal. I also think she pairs beautifully with [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] and makes up somewhat for the loss of Gwenllian
Hecate - full-on witchy vibe, more so than Aradia, Bellicent, and [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] combined. Powerful, dark, and poignant…I see her as a thoroughly Samhain name, perhaps a bit strong for a gentle winter-into-spring soul. But that’s just my gut reaction.
[name_f]Hypatia[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] the historical character…wish I were more attracted to her name. I just have this thing with H names I guess…they always seem to be the ones I struggle with.
[name_f]Isis[/name_f] - Ooh, I’d never considered her for a first, but I actually love the idea! [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] and [name_f]Isis[/name_f], two powerful goddesses in very different ways from very different pantheons. [name_f]One[/name_f] of the few short names that stands up to [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f]'s many syllables.
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f] - Beautiful, watery, romantic, and tragic. Brings a new dimension to the sibset. I like it…also a fan of briny variant [name_f]Yseult[/name_f].
Nausicaa - After the Miyazaki film? I’m always had trouble with the similarity to “nausea,” but the character is fabulous.
[name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f] - While I adore the idea of this name, she’s so similar to [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f], and she will never surpass my love for [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f]
Niniane - As always, I prefer Nimue. But I do think she could pair well with [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympia[/name_f] - It’s never been my favorite name. I just think of the Olympics, rather than magic and mythos and mystery.
Proserpina - always makes me think of porcupines >_> sorry!!
Silmarien - immediately reminds me of the Silmarillion, so brownie points for that. I also love anything with that silky silvery vibe. [name_f]Velvet[/name_f] skies of midnight blue and twinkling crystal stars. [name_f]Love[/name_f].
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] - My reaction is rather lukewarm. No love, no hate, and no immediate associations.
[name_f]Vashti[/name_f] - love love love love [name_f]LOVE[/name_f]. She’s so lush and exotic, and her character has always been one of my favorites. Swoon.
[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] - I know you love her, but she’s never been my favorite. Fits all of your criteria though, and the nickname [name_u]Zen[/name_u] is beautiful.
[name_f]Zorya[/name_f] - hm. I prefer [name_f]Soraya[/name_f].

Is Belphoebe totally off the table? If so, my top six (low as I could go) would be Aradia, Bellicent, [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f], [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Isis[/name_f], and [name_f]Vashti[/name_f], with honorable mentions to [name_f]Circe[/name_f], [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], [name_f]Isolde[/name_f], and Silmarien. If not, Belphoebe would be my choice over Bellicent. So sad to see [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] go, I’d really come to root for her!

[name_f]Reverie[/name_f]! You posted while I typed… EEK, hauntingly stunning! That’s what I want to hear! Thanks for your comments, you’ve been very helpful!

[name_m]Beau[/name_m]; I like [name_f]Minerva[/name_f], but I wouldn’t use it. [name_f]Antigone[/name_f] is the name of the baby of a close friend.

TheBandit; ah, okay. that’s fine!

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]; not upsetting, just curious. I don’t love [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] as much as I love [name_f]Circe[/name_f], but I also wonder about where to put [name_f]Circe[/name_f]… if she’s best as a first or middle…

[name_u]Angel[/name_u]; Thanks! [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and [name_f]Dita[/name_f], oooooh!!!

Sessha; popping in from obscurity to change my mind I see… You’ve got x-ray vision. I’m so tired, I agree with pretty much everything you said. My eyes and brain get clouded sometimes, I see great namesake and I find the name beautiful. So this is incredibly helpful for me. I get what you say about [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], it would theme them in an unfortunate way I guess. Nausicaa’s a princess in The Odyssey who doesn’t take [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m] into her bed even though they were in love ([name_m]Odysseus[/name_m] was a huge slut!). She marries his son though. Hecate is Samhain. Save? You’re in luck regarding [name_f]Zenobia[/name_f], Husband said only one queen, and I choose [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]. If [name_f]Circe[/name_f] ends up as a first… it’ll be [name_f]Circe[/name_f] [name_f]Olwen[/name_f] Tinuviel. No doubt in my heart about that one. I love [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] and miss her. Gwenllian too. I might reconsider cause I’m a nut. Belphoebe, I’m trying not to think about this one until [name_u]Baby[/name_u] X is born and I know the name… Thanks so much, sweetie mine.

Gutted [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] is out as I love it and it would go so well with her sister’s name :frowning: however love love love [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]… Beautiful. Your naming style is much more adventurous than mine but I adore this name. Delicious!

[name_f]Morgana[/name_f] - It’s pretty, pairs well with your daughter’s name and is obviously your top contender. Also, it doesn’t lock you into a Greek mythology theme.
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] - I just think that this is really cute and underused. I also like [name_f]Callisto[/name_f] and [name_u]Calypso[/name_u], which have a similar feel.
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] this. I know there could be pronunciation issues but it’s just so beautiful that I think it would be worth it.
[name_f]Olympia[/name_f] - Very grand and would work just as well on a child as it would an adult.
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] - I just like this paired with [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f].

That actually isn’t correct. [name_m]Samson[/name_m] fell in love with [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] first, then she was offered money to betray him. She was never a spy, just a chick who betrayed her boyfriend for some silver. It’s still a great name (we had it on our list for awhile) but if you’re wanting to avoid treacherous women, you’d probably want to steer clear of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f].

The only name I can think to suggest is [name_f]Boudicca[/name_f]/Boadicea, since she was a pretty bad@ss lady.

Great choices! My top 5 would be:
[name_f]Morgana[/name_f]
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_f]Isis[/name_f]

I can’t wait for your birth announcement- I love your name style so much.
My top ones with Aphrodite (favs are starred):

Bellicent
Circe*
Cleopatra*
Electra
Hypatia
Olympia*
Zenobia*

I really love Zenobia with Aphrodite but Olympia and Circe are two of my favorite names as well. I can’t tell if Cleopatra is too much with Aphrodite. Bellicent is super gorgeous, too. I’m guessing you’ve already thought of and nixed Thisbe?

For me, it’s between Zenobia and Olympia. They’re both substantial enough but also pretty.

ETA: totally forgot about Morgana. I like it third behind Z and O.

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] - not overly fond, and I agree with others that already having [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] kind of rules it out
Aradia - never heard it before, but very pretty
Bellicent - unfortunately it reminds me of [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] which I hate
Bradamante - I like -amante, but I don’t like [name_m]Brad[/name_m]-
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] - love this, though I’ve only discovered recently its not pronounced cal-ee-oh-pee, but cal-ai-oh-pee. Did prefer the first one, but it’s still great
[name_f]Circe[/name_f] - seems too short compared to [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f] - I don’t particularly care one way or the other about [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f], bit I do love [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] - and now the song’s stuck in my head again…
[name_f]Electra[/name_f]/[name_f]Elettra[/name_f] - never been a fan
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]/[name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] - I really love both of these and am finding it impossible to choose between the two
Hecate - dislike the sound. Apologies for sounding disgusting, but to me it sounds like someone clearing their throat
[name_f]Hypatia[/name_f] - quite like, bit don’t love
[name_f]Isis[/name_f] - I do love this, but it seems too short unfortunately which is a pity
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f] - I think this is my favourite. Very pretty and I love the story of [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] and [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]
Nausicaa - nauseous?
[name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f] - not a fan
Niniane - I can’t get over ‘ninny’, sorry
[name_f]Olympia[/name_f] - really love this too
Silmarien - not a fan
[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] - really like this too. I do prefer just [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] myself, but I do think [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] is better with Aph.
[name_f]Vashti[/name_f] - like, don’t love
[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] - I still hear xenophobia every time

Top 5:

  1. [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]
  2. [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f]
  3. [name_f]Olympia[/name_f]
  4. [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
  5. [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]/[name_f]Ginevra[/name_f]

My favourite five, in no particular order, are;

[name_f]Isis[/name_f]
[name_f]Circe[/name_f], although I think there may be quite a few people that mistakenly believe that you’ve named her after Cersei Lannister, a character in the Song of Ice & [name_m]Fire[/name_m] series that’s currently being televised (aka ‘Game of Thrones’)
[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f]
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f]
[name_u]Artemis[/name_u]

Honourable mention to [name_f]Vashti[/name_f].

You mentioned that you didn’t want any names of treacherous women, which makes me curious about the inclusion of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] in your list. Given that [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] sold out [name_m]Samson[/name_m], and [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] committed adultery, do you not consider these namesakes treacherous to some extent?

[name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f]
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_u]Artemis[/name_u]
[name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f]
Nausicaa (the movie was fabulous-- and you get to honor Miyazaki and the character!)
best of luck!

I love the title of this thread! Of those on your list, these are the ones I like best:

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u]
Aradia
Bradamante
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_f]Circe[/name_f]
[name_f]Elettra[/name_f]
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]/[name_f]Ginevra[/name_f]
Nausicaa
Niniane
Silmarien
[name_f]Vashti[/name_f]
[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f]
[name_f]Zorya[/name_f]

My top five might be:

[name_f]Morgana[/name_f]
[name_f]Circe[/name_f] (she’s short next to [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f], but I think she has substance; and as I’ve said before, you’ve loved her so long, she really should be on your backup list. [name_f]Circe[/name_f] feels very specific to me, too.)
[name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] (I’m liking this lately, and I like the fact that this form distances you a little from [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]'s [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]. Is she a little…normal?..next to [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f], though?)
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f] (Very pretty, very tragic, yet substantial too. I like the culture contrast between [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f] and [name_f]Isolde[/name_f], and the E-endings give them a suitably subtle link.)
[name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] (This has never been one of my favorites from your lists; I just don’t care for the sound, I think. But it seems to have staying power for you, and it does have the sparkle and the substance to stand up to [name_f]Aphrodite[/name_f]. I also like the A and Z, though not sure where you’d go from there–B and Y? :))

Best wishes! I’ll add suggestions if I think of any.

I like [name_f]Isolde[/name_f], [name_f]Zorya[/name_f], [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f], [name_f]Olympia[/name_f], and [name_f]Calliope[/name_f].
I really dislike: Nausicaa, [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f], and [name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f] (The last two are way, way too tied to historical figures–I don’t think they would really suit a child well. Despite [name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f] being awesome. If you must use them I’d put them in a middle spot)

This is only somewhat on topic, but I seem to recall that you removed Gwenllian because it’s difficult to pronounce for Italians, correct?

If that’s the case and you’re on the fence about it, I should mention that I’ve taken Spanish immersion classes since I was little, and although my various Spanish teachers could never say the G with the W, I was fine with answering to [vague phlegm sound]-wen.

And this is all relevant because Spanish is close to Italian. [name_f]Kinda[/name_f]. The point is that I don’t think the pronunciation issue by itself is a good enough reason to ditch Gwenllian if you really like it. And I feel like [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] would be even easier to pronounce.

Also, if you’re on the fence about [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] and need to be persuaded, I’m prepared to defend it. With catapults and boiling oil and everything.

And while I really like Proserpina and think it’s woefully underused, part of me is hesitant about it because it doesn’t feel as brave as your other choices.
