Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher

Really?!?!?!?? Cue eye roll.

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]? They should’ve named her: Taba Sweetlily.

I quite like it. I think it suits them as a couple, and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] has a lovely, laid back tomboy charm.

instead of choosing a gorgeous russian name , they choose wyatt which [name_f]IMO[/name_f] its not even cute on a boy . [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] / [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] would have been absolutly gorgeous as a first .

With so many beautiful russian/ukrainian names they choose this? It is not even recognized as unisex. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t even get me started on how I hate when people steal boys names for “unisex” names further lowering the pool of strictly boys names when girls have so many. [name_f]Remember[/name_f] her why men can’t say they are pregnant video? Wish I could make one for her about this stupid name choice!

I’m with you. I was hoping for a lovely Russian/Ukrainian name too. And [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] Kutcher is super awkward to say out loud, unlike [name_f]Johana[/name_f] Kutcher or [name_f]Zofia[/name_f] Kutcher or [name_f]Oksana[/name_f] Kutcher or even just [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] Kutcher. I know [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] are very popular, but on aesthetics alone this would have been lovely.

I am going to be so annoyed if one result of this is that people start naming their girls [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] in mass numbers (not because I wanted it for my own future son or anything, but because it just doesn’t sound feminine at all).

I actually only kept up with her pregnancy to see what russian name she picked because I have several picked out for myself and was hoping she didn’t pick one and ruin it for me lol. I guess I don’t have to worry about that now but seriously why would you want your darling little baby girl name that. I hope it doesn’t catch on but you never know with people these days…

Sorry I don’t like [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] at all! [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is so feminine and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] is a nice name but only for a little boy it’s stupid to use it on a girl. I’m guessing a girl is what they had.

@margaret24, I so agree with you. This is disappointing not only because there are so many feminine names that could have had family/heritage significance, but because now another beloved boy name has been hijacked for “unisex”. So many of my favorite classic boy names are meeting this fate.

[name_f]Laura[/name_f] Wattenberg puts it best in The [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Name [name_m]Wizard[/name_m]: “For parents seeking equal opportunity for their daughters, choosing a masculine name may send a mixed message. It could point to a world without boundaries or stereotypes, but it could also reinforce the idea that strength has to mean masculinity. Think of the strongest women you’ve known… what were their names? Surely a [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or [name_f]Diana[/name_f] sounds at least as formidable as an [name_u]Emory[/name_u] or [name_u]Peyton[/name_u].”

I love “boyish” nicknames on little girls. [name_u]Sam[/name_u] and [name_u]Joey[/name_u] are darling when they’re legally [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] or [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. Using mom’s maiden name for a girl, too, I can get behind–it has real meaning! But this age of not knowing a kid’s sex by their name is getting a little old. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] has one of the most coveted female names of these past few years. It doesn’t seem quite right that she named a girl [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].

I second it!
So annoying she ([name_f]Mila[/name_f]) has a sweet nice feminine name and her baby girl gets [name_m]WYATT[/name_m]? Wow that’s just not cool at all! Like [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], best buddies… oh, wait, that’s his daughter… Lol.
I’m wondering what they’d call their son (in case they’d have one) - I suggest [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], or maybe even [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], just because!

I feel a bit sorry for her. [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] is just so masculine, but at least they chose a feminine middle name that she can go by if she wants. With that said, I guess it could be worse ([name_m]Jagger[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] blue, anybody?).

Wow, you guys are harsh. I really like the name, it’s sweet, and compared to “[name_f]Apple[/name_f]” and “[name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]West[/name_u]”, I think it is much more normal/common. I don’t necessarily agree with naming girls stereotypical boys names, but it isn’t too bad. If little [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] hates it as she grows older, [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is a perfect name to fall back on.

And, who is to say that “[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]” isn’t a family name? For all you know, [name_u]Ashton[/name_u]'s grandmother’s name is [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].

Why? Why? Why? Why? Wy?(att)

Wynott?

I am not a fan at all. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] would have been nicer.

Touché!

…that’s all I wanted to say but it won’t let me post a comment less than 10 characters…

I like it… I think it goes well together… plus its not as bad as some… [name_f]Princess[/name_f]… [name_f]Apple[/name_f]… [name_u]North[/name_u]… ANd there are a few more…

Because!

I’m sorry, this one is even worse than [name_u]North[/name_u] South [name_u]West[/name_u] or [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_u]Drew[/name_u] or [name_f]Apple[/name_f]. Why I do say that? They put a diametrically-opposed, frilly name in the middle; it’s like they knew they were coming up with a stinker of a name and they tried to throw something in there at the last minute to appeal to the masses.

Not cool, Kutchers.

I’m not a believer in second-guessing a name once it’s on the birth certificate, but this one makes me want to start chanting, “change her name!”

I had that same problem, so I added the smiley

And now, to make up for my previous short posting… A few anagrammed celebrity alternatives for Wynott’s name:

Starbuck [name_u]Teale[/name_u] [name_f]Whitley[/name_f]
Lusetta Celebrity [name_m]Hawk[/name_m]
Bettylu [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] Kawehi
Starlett Icyblue Hawke
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] Lysbett Starhawk

= [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] Kutcher

Kawehi: Hawaiian, meaning “the adornment.”

– [name_f]Nephele[/name_f]

I groaned the first time I saw it. [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] on a girl is awful. At least she has [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].
