[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Enya[/name_f] O’Cleariahan (27) is Ayu’s best friend, Cleo’s elder sister, and Jed’s wife. At first [name_u]Ayu[/name_u] didn’t feel like she wanted an older friend due to reminders of her late miscarried elder sister but Maeve’s love for coding helped [name_u]Ayu[/name_u] and brought her closer as a friend. The two are now best friends and [name_u]Ayu[/name_u] attended Maeve’s baby shower when [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] was pregnant with her and Jed’s daughter. Like [name_u]Dani[/name_u], [name_u]Mason[/name_u], [name_m]Jed[/name_m], and [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] also encourages [name_m]Ryu[/name_m] to follow her dreams and is low-key addicted to Ryu’s mini game, both as a coder and as a gamer. She wants [name_m]Ryu[/name_m] to be proud of who she is and her sister [name_u]Cleo[/name_u] agrees. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and Cleo’s parents are very supportive of their daughters and are overjoyed by their granddaughter, [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and Jed’s daughter.

Clara Saoirse O’Cleariahan-Okiro is the infant daughter of Maeve and Jed. She took her mother’s name as well as her fathers, mainly because Maeve insisted on it and Jed was cool with it. She’s a very curious baby and is always willing to explore different things, to her parents’ amusement. She is also a very happy baby, and her parents are delighted with her.

Petr [Damarešk] Damaresk (49) is the paediatrician of Clara O’Cleariahan-Okiro. Petr loves that Clara’s name is hyphenated with two O-surnames and loves how her parents are always so kind to her. Petr has one sibling who he is very close to, and supports his sibling’s non-binary identity. He is the brother-in-law of Rowena and is of Czech descent, his parents born in Kyjov. Upon emigrating, the š in their surname was changed to s due to many places not accepting accented letter in legal names, but Petr still signs his name with the accent. Like Rowena, he loves the entertainment industry and supports her agency, and mother figure role to the models. He is the father of Gigi’s best friend, an aspiring actress in a psychological thriller film, and is excited to see his daughter bring out her full potential.

[name_f]Milica[/name_f] ’ [name_u]Micah[/name_u] ’ [name_f]Ophelie[/name_f] Damaresk (26) is Petr’s daughter and Gigi’s best friend, who’s just had a significant break in her career: the one she’s being hoping for since graduating from drama school four years ago - during which time she mostly worked on audiobooks and small series on the indie circuit that have never reached considerable success. Her current film likewise was made by an up-and-comer, but upon being noticed by a successful production company, it was propelled into the spotlight mid-shoot and now she feels a little intimidated by all the attention - although the success is something she’s overjoyed about. Micah’s the only child born to her parents, something she sometimes regretted growing up, and shares a very close relationship with both of them - as they’ve encouraged her in different ways.

Being significantly older than her two cousins mean they look up to [name_u]Micah[/name_u] a lot, and she finds it endearing, although jokingly complains to her dad about when she looses this status once they’ve fixed their own identities. She credits her Aunt [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] to helping her too: as she took the majority of Micah’s headshots and used modelling techniques to help her become aware of her appearance, allowing her to emote the most authentic way she can for scenes - which is what’s already garnered her interest and praise from critiques now the test screenings have been officiated. While she hasn’t been to the Czech Republic as much as she’d like, [name_u]Micah[/name_u] does speak the language fluently and is planning a trip with her close friends once her schedule’s a little less hectic. She’s also become very close with one of her co-stars, who she thinks she might be developing a bit of a crush on…

[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] " [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] " Wakefield (25) is Micah’s co-star. Unlike [name_u]Micah[/name_u], who’s been to drama school and the like, [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] has grown up within the acting industry, making his name known by the age of ten. Because of this, he’s never known a life without the spotlight and the flash of cameras, something [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] has grown tired of. Maybe that’s why he chose to take a role that his agent called “beneath him”, but the script was beautiful and [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] never understood why he had to take up roles by the big names. Outside of the set, he and [name_u]Micah[/name_u] have developed a beautiful friendship, a friendship where [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] feels as if he doesn’t need to put up a front for.

The Wakefields are a dynasty within the filmmaking industry— both in the U.S and Europe. His father, [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] Wakefield, is a famous director and his mother, [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] Wakefield, is a famous screenwriter. It was almost a no-brainer that [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], the eldest son, would follow in his parents’ footsteps (though, if you were to ask him, he wasn’t really given a choice.) He has four younger siblings, all of whom are also acting either in film or theatre. As much as he is grateful for his success and that he loves what he does, [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] wishes that he and his siblings were given choices whether or not to pursue a normal life. Which is another reason why he’s being very careful with his feelings for [name_u]Micah[/name_u]: he thinks the press has no right in his romantic endeavours and how he might be falling for his first real friend.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] Wakefield (22) is Teddy’s sister and the second Wakefield sibling. Unlike her brother, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] prefers being away from cameras and is involved in theater work - after becoming enamoured with [name_m]Macbeth[/name_m] due to a childhood obsession with witches - but do not ask her about musical theatre as she cannot bring herself to even consider dancing on stage. She can be mistaken for melancholy due to how tragedy inspires her, and she prefers plays revolving around difficult times in characters lives, but for [name_f]Margot[/name_f] it’s important to convey these journey’s due to their relevance and the information they can provide about introspection. Alongside drama, she also majored in Literature to give her an analytical understanding of the parts she plays - which does mean, combined with her family name, that people see her as being a little arrogant (or at the very least a hyper perfectionist) and Margot’s never been the most charismatic person offstage, so breaking the ice can take a while.

Currently one of Margot’s best friends is writing their own play and she’s determined to see it succeed, although she hasn’t told [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] as she doesn’t want his success to cause the play to be seen as a beneficiary of nepotism (which would overshadow its message). For how wrapped up in renaissance and medieval work she can seem, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] knows how to read her siblings perfectly, and is suspicious of Teddy’s crush on [name_u]Micah[/name_u]. She isn’t one to meddle though…unless prompted by her younger sibling closest in age, and this is probably why he’s eager for the pair to not come together to discuss as they’ll want to campaign for his happiness. Outside of her career and familial background, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] enjoys going free swimming outdoors and is an avid knitter who makes animal eared hats for her friends. Her core group consists of 4 people including herself and they met in high school and university respectively - with two duos combining into the wider group. These are the people she confides in about her anxiety about letting down her parents, as while she knows they’ll always love and support her, Margot’s perfectionism is very much seared into her nature and she always strives to be the best she can be.

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] " [name_f]Bea[/name_f] " Wakefield (20) is the third Wakefield sibling and the sister of [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]. Similarly to [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_f]Bea[/name_f] was thrust into the spotlight as a young child, but instead of flourishing under it, she shrunk. It was only until her mid-teens did she return to the cameras and found herself actually enjoying the work. In a way, [name_f]Bea[/name_f] is grateful that she managed to have a semblance of a normal childhood— she’s still good friends with a lot of her friends from middle school and makes sure to keep contact with them despite her busy schedules. Sometimes her friends make appearances on her Instagram, but she doesn’t let the masses gain access to her friends’ private lives.

Although [name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] are quite close, they make sure to not cross each other’s circles at work due to whispers of nepotism and the like. There was talk that [name_f]Bea[/name_f] would always be in her brother’s shadow until her recent film, The [name_f]Starlit[/name_f] [name_f]Valley[/name_f], got her nominated for Best [name_m]Young[/name_m] Actress. A part of her resents the public for comparing her and her siblings like that, but she’s done a good job of pretending the tabloids don’t exist so far— she’s not going to stop now.

Bea’s especially close to [name_f]Margot[/name_f], however— the two are two years apart— and [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] fears whenever the Gruesome Twosome (as he calls them) meet. They make bullying [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] into their second job, teasing him about [name_u]Micah[/name_u] and telling him that he should go for it. While [name_f]Margot[/name_f] plots in secrecy, [name_f]Bea[/name_f] isn’t quiet about how she wants to see [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] happy with someone. Outside of acting and family life, [name_f]Bea[/name_f] loves classical music and sometimes livestreams herself playing the piano at their house when she can. Although there isn’t much fan interaction, [name_f]Bea[/name_f] likes doing something for her fans, even if it’s just the little things.

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] [name_m]Hadrian[/name_m] Wakefield (17) is the fourth sibling and in some ways, their path has been the most straightforward to navigate. Currently starring in a western drama series broadcast on Netflix, [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] also began acting at a younger age - however their parents decided to hold off until they expressed interest because of what [name_f]Bea[/name_f] experienced, and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] was twelve when they starred in a sleeper hit indie horror set in the 60s. They do still have a weakness for 20th century pieces because of how they met their best friend while working on the film [name_f]Lot[/name_f] 15, and the two have starred in several more projects together; with the other boy being the first person, who wasn’t a family member, [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] came out to when they realised they were non-binary shortly after their 15th birthday. The current project they’re starring in is a step outside of Oscar’s comfort zone, but the fact it’s queer centric prompted them to take a chance, and it’s proven to bolster their confidence, experience and planning for the future; although they’re going to spend their autumn filming another horror film set in the early 90s, starring a few people they have mutual friends in acting circles with.

Oscar’s also the sibling definitively most confident when it comes to embracing fan culture and communicating with those who follow their career - frequently hosting insta lives - but [name_f]Bea[/name_f] has helped them maintain privacy and they know [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] would step in if they ever felt uncomfortable. They’re careful in maintaining clear boundaries with their fanbase, which is painful as some people Oscar’s met inspire and impress them greatly, but they don’t want their fame clouding ananyone’s judgement or crossing boundaries they’re clear in maintaining. Oscar’s also tentatively started a new relationship recently with an aspiring makeup artist who interned on the western series, and she’s someone they’re incredibly glad to have in their life, as it can be a lot maintaining an image of complete self-assured positivety; and they don’t want to burden anyone they care about, especially their best friend who’s always been a rock. Introducing her to the family is less straightforward though, as between [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] doesn’t want her overwhelmed by questions.

[name_f]Alisa[/name_f] Yakovna Severinova (17) is the aspiring makeup artist [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is currently courting. The daughter of Russian immigrants, [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] came to the U.S with a heavy accent and no knowledge of the language and was bullied for being “different” than the rest. She quickly proved them wrong when she excelled in academics, even being a mathlete during middle school. Her heavy Russian accent is mostly gone, though some of it remains due to the fact that she often visited [name_f]Russia[/name_f] during school holidays. Though [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] was always good at school, she was always interested in the arts. Drawing was an escape for her when she was ostracised by her peers, and she viewed makeup as the same: the canvas just changed.

[name_f]Alisa[/name_f] and Oscar’s meeting was pure serendipity: [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] was lucky enough to intern on the set and just happened to be assigned to [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]. She did their makeup for the first season and they soon became quick friends, and then into something more. They confessed to her in their trailer and that was that. Of course, her friends back in [name_f]Russia[/name_f] knew the entire story: [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] never shut up about [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] and they were finally happy their friend was with the person that they liked.

Something has changed for [name_f]Alisa[/name_f], though: an agent from Oscar’s label has contacted her through her cameo in the series, her parents want her to pursue academia, not the arts, and she’s just got another job on a different show. Alisa’s been confiding in her mentor, the makeup artist she’s shadowing, about her situation and she’s grateful that he’s been so supportive of her thus far.

[name_u]Alfie[/name_u] [name_u]Green[/name_u] [name_m]Beauchamp[/name_m] (24) is Alisa’s mentor and, in spite of his youth, a very experienced makeup artist. Growing up, [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] was a ward of the state and has limited information on his biological parents: aside from them being teenagers, and that his mother gave him the surname [name_m]Beauchamp[/name_m] as she was fluent in [name_u]French[/name_u], but had no connections to the country. He moved constantly, due to his social worker - [name_m]Kelvin[/name_m] - being determined to find him the perfect placement, but this ultimately never happened. Ironically, Kelvin’s the only parental figure Alfie’s ever embraced, and they’ve remained close since he legally left the system; with [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] regularly going to see him and his family between shoots, always accompanied by his unofficial assistant: [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] the Russian [name_u]Blue[/name_u], who only has on eye thanks to an infection when he was a kitten (but do not talk smack about it or [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] will take the issue up with you). Due to allergies, [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] isn’t on every set [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] goes to, but he comes whenever permitted and acts as a bit of a therapy animal to the nervous or stressed actors [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] works with - unsurprising as he’s ridiculously affectionate.

Technically, [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] has two roommates - his friend’s who are a couple - but he’s travelling so much they joke he’s just a frequent guest in the house, and [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] is his plus one. A very level-headed and measured individual, [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] doesn’t act rashly - something that caused [name_m]Kelvin[/name_m] to gradually recognise his maturity and consult him more about what he wanted - and is always willing to let someone vent at or confide in him. Alisa’s something of a surrogate little sister to him, not just in how [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] tries helping her out, but also in their dynamic, and he’s made sure she has fun while doing her job - as that’s something he believes is important in the makeup industry, due to how rhythmic it can be. He does have a significant other, who he’s been with three years, and they were also raised in foster care: meeting on an online forum to discuss their experiences. The couple are very laidback and believe in letting things progress naturally, so there’s no rush to move in together, but [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] does visit whenever possible and if filming near to them, stays over for more quality time.

He can be very sentimental and romantic when feeling inspired, but this is hidden behind how laissez-faire he appears to others.

[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_m]Devereaux[/name_m] Peters (23) is one of Alfie’s roommates and Bea’s personal stylist. [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] has been friends with [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] for a long time— he even introduced [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] to her girlfriend. She sometimes jokes that [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] teleports in and out of the house, but loves it when he’s over. [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] is like the brother she never had— sadly, Natalie’s twin brother died in a tragic car accident when they were seven— and she’s very grateful for his existence.

[name_f]Natalie[/name_f], despite knowing she could easily fit in Hollywood due to her “look”, prefers being backstage and working with celebrities. She and [name_f]Bea[/name_f] are friends more than anything else, and often talks with [name_f]Bea[/name_f] about what she wants to wear to events and such. [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] tends to pick very prim and proper looks for [name_f]Bea[/name_f], liking how the preppy looks suit her, but she’s always up for communication if [name_f]Bea[/name_f] wants to try something different. Because of this, a lot of people don’t know that [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] had an extreme scene phase and she perfected the scene queen hairstyle. Though that era of her life has passed, she still looks back on it fondly and still listens to the music associated with the subculture.

Although she is primarily Bea’s stylist, [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] does occasionally work with the Wakefield siblings, even picking out a dress for [name_f]Margot[/name_f] for theatre awards. She also appreciates that the Wakefields treat her like a human being— the celebrity she used to style was extremely haughty and was incredibly abusive to [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], treating her like she was sub-human. She has made subtle references to them in interviews and on social media, but [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] knows she needs to keep it hush-hush or else she might get sued.

[name_f]Aarohi[/name_f] " Oh " [name_f]Sarai[/name_f] Lakhani (24) is Natalie’s girlfriend and the final roommate. In contrast to the others, Oh’s a much more lowkey line of work, being an accountant for a vegan makeup business, which is how she met [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] when he started sourcing from them and their transactions began to develop into in-jokes about varying elements of the world they work in. Oh’s the second of five siblings, and truthfully prefers to be out of the family home for prolonged periods of time, as the loudness of her siblings and their constant questions for her drives her crazy - as much as she loves them to pieces. She was evidently always the ‘quiet one’, who kept her head down and basically was married to schoolwork until college; as she was determined to win a scholarship so her parents got a financial break given their large brood and the cost of education.

Succeeding in this is something she’s still proud of, and Oh has been supporting her younger sibling in also applying through this program, as they want to become an engineer. She’s very sensitive to others, in spite of hanging back socially most of the time, and this is what led to her becoming so close with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] after [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] introduced them; as Oh made it clear she was available to listen and provide support, but let [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] open up on her own time and never pried about details unless invited to. [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] serving as a brother to her girlfriend is something she’s very relieved to see, as the loss [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] endured pains her too, and she hates seeing anyone she loves struggling: in spite of knowing she can’t fix everything.

Some people would consider Oh boring in comparison to those she’s friends with, but she’s comfortable being the less exceptional person career wise, and enjoys being a rock to those she cares about. Cooking is her primary duty in the home as she’s got the most time and has a love of it thanks to her mom’s teachings; but she is a total spice fiend so the others have to monitor her use or chili when it’s going to be shared between them all. She’s also a violinist, purely a hobby now but she used to attend recitals and contests, having composed some romantic pieces for [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] as gifts; not necessarily faciliated by any special occasion. The couple also have a pet iguana named Lime, who has a friendship with [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] all three roommates find incredibly charming, as you can find the duo curled up in [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and Oh’s room at random intervals.

[name_u]Jules[/name_u] has always wanted to become a famous actress but was resigned to her fate of only doing supporting roles due to the lack of [name_f]Asian[/name_f] representation on western television. However, [name_u]Jules[/name_u] starred as the lead in an indie film called A Hundred Unsent Letters, which won a film award and sent [name_u]Jules[/name_u] into a spotlight. Recently, she’s been casted as a lead in a Netflix show alongside [name_f]Bea[/name_f] Wakefield, who seems very nice.

Her parents are both Chinese immigrants but adore what their daughter is doing: both wanted to go in creative fields but couldn’t due to financial constraints, and thus encouraged their daughter to pursue whatever she wanted. Though, they did warn [name_u]Jules[/name_u] that being an actress was not going to be easy— something they now jokingly pretend never happened. When the film she starred in won the award, [name_u]Jules[/name_u] had to physically stop her parents from gleefully talking about their talented daughter. She’s incredibly proud of her own success, though, and uses her platform to tell other AAPI creatives that yes, their talents can and will be represented. [name_u]Jules[/name_u] has already received messages that she’s inspired a lot of people, and she swears she wants to do this forever.

Other than the Netflix show, [name_u]Jules[/name_u] is starring in another indie film titled The Mansion on [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u] [name_m]Hill[/name_m], a dramatic period piece. [name_u]Jules[/name_u] had warmed their parents this could happen if they kept bragging about her career but despite the family’s desire for [name_f]Ada[/name_f] to have success, they know she is only three and doesn’t want to be exposed to fame that early and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] herself doesn’t want it right now either. Instead, [name_f]Ada[/name_f] likes playing with the other children at her daycare. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] does want to watch her sister’s show even though it’s not a show meant for children her age. While she isn’t quite allowed to watch it, it’s impossible to hide it from her and she has seen it but it’s not been too much of an impact on her as she doesn’t understand the show. Elizabeth Bimini “ Elsie “ Greenway (22) is Ada Wong’s babysitter and a coworker of Jules- though not a star in the show, she’s a background character who makes a few brief appearances, which Elsie is fine with- it’s her first acting gig after all, outside of school plays. Elsie has always had a passion for acting but when she decided to audition with Jules, she was very shocked that she got in! Her parents were very supportive and excited for Elsie. Elsie’s family consists of a a big sister a year older than her, another big sister 2 year older than her, and a big brother who’s 4 years older than her. Her family moved from Freeport, Bahamas when she was around 11 or 12 to Miami, Florida- she tried not to speak as she thought she was an outcast and didn’t want to be so heavily bullied like her brother, who actually moved back to Freeport because he was so annoyed and done with Miami. Their parents made all their middle names Bahamian islands as a subtle nod to their culture, and Elsie thinks that’s really cute.

Elsie was kind of a goth and an outcast in high school- she’d straighten her hair, dye it raven black and wear it over one eye. A part of her daily makeup routine was smearing globs of black eyeliner onto her poor eyelids. Kids made fun of her, referring to her as an emo- Elsie would protest and tell them all that she’s not an emo, she’s a goth, and go over it again and again. She was also a part of the theater club and she found a passion for it. All the other kids were wowed by her acting skills- the geeky emo who claimed she was a goth was actually a great actress? Elsie’s own family wasn’t surprised at all. They knew from the start how wonderful at acting she is, and anything else she puts her mind to.

Elsie went to university in Miami and formed a nice little friend group, who she’s still in contact with. As soon as Elsie got out of college with flying colors (she majored in drama), she decided it was time to make a name for herself and applied to an audition. When she got a minor role she had to move out of Florida- her family was sad, but she makes a point to visit her parents and sister once a month and her brother once every six months- international flights have never been cheap. Elsie has encouraged her family to watch the show and they all comment on how Jules’ character and her partner’s character are such good actors and it seems like they have real chemistry. As Jules’ friend, Elsie just nods and keeps her mouth shut…it would ruin the magic if she told them that Jules and the other actor aren’t really acting…Elsie and Jules bonded while off camera and she keeps encouraging Jules to go for it! However, she hasn’t fully convinced her friend yet…

[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] has been wanting he and [name_u]Jules[/name_u] to make a move, not knowing [name_f]Tacy[/name_f] is still with him. [name_u]Jules[/name_u] however knows [name_f]Tacy[/name_f] is still with him and knows this is the main reason why she’s shy of telling him how she feels despite their attraction being mutual.

However, something very messed up recently happened with [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]. [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] was e-mailed last month and asked for a major role in a new movie — which would have been her big break. However after no response by [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], they didn’t contact her, assuming she didn’t want the role and got someone else to take it. [name_u]Truth[/name_u] is, [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] never read the e-mail because someone had hacked into her device and deleted the e-mail before she could read and accept. [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] had no idea she was hacked until one day when she had to have her computer fixed. [name_u]Jules[/name_u] has been trying to figure out who did it and is starting to believe [name_f]Tacy[/name_f] may have found out about [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] wanting Tacy’s boyfriend to date [name_u]Jules[/name_u] and hacked her in revenge. However there is no confirmation on this and it is possible [name_f]Tacy[/name_f] didn’t know this about [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]. Besides, [name_f]Tacy[/name_f] isn’t the only suspect of the hacking; one of Elsie’s friends, one of the former bullies who said [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] was “emo”, and one of the former movie directors are also suspects of this mystery.

Na-young “ [name_f]Lily[/name_f] “ Jang (21) is a friend of [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and [name_f]Tacy[/name_f]. She’s also the suspect of the hacking incident, though she completely denies any involvement- anyone who knows [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would know she’s a total sweetheart who would never sabotage her friend. Like [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and [name_u]Jules[/name_u], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is an actress- but she’s not as involved in the production of the Netflix show and is only friends with some of the actors, including Jules’ costar and love interest. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] has appeared in shows, but never Netflix ones- she’s always dreamed of premiering on a show for Netflix though. The only reason Lily’s a suspect is because she was asked to be on the show that [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] was sent the email for, and she gladly accepted the minor role. For [name_f]Lily[/name_f], acting has never been about money. It’s always been her passion, very similarly to [name_f]Elsie[/name_f].

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] attended the same university as [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], and the two bonded instantly forming a sisterly relationship. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] only has two big brothers- they’re twins, identical ones, and anyone who hurts [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is in for the most confusing beating of their life….they’re very overprotective of her. Lily’s mom is from the UK, and her father’s from Seoul, and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] lived in the UK up until she was eight, and the headed to the US- her dad had a flexible job as a salesman but hated all the homesickness and decided to quit and settle in the States. It was taking a toll on the whole family. Like [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] was a shameless theater kid, but she tried to cover it up- [name_f]Lily[/name_f] takes all insults VERY seriously, and will let any tiny thing get to her. Her friends refer to her as the “ [name_u]Golden[/name_u] Retriever “ of the friend group, and she appreciates that- she’s actually the mother to a [name_u]Golden[/name_u] Retriever, so she finds that ironic. She loves her little puppy and often knits him little sweaters. She was accused of hacking into her friend’s email but completely denied it- however she thinks the bully who called [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] emo could be responsible as they haven’t changed a bit since middle school.

[name_m]Jun[/name_m] Jang (43) is Lily’s uncle and director of many movies, previously working with Netflix. He is [name_u]South[/name_u] Korean-based and did movies for his homeland before moving. He is no longer working as a director due to deciding to move back to [name_u]South[/name_u] Korea. He and the director of the show [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] was e-mailed toward had many creative differences but eventually ended up feuding and [name_m]Jun[/name_m] left the company. Rumours say he would have been fired but chose to leave on his own terms but [name_m]Jun[/name_m] denies these. He’s a suspect in Elsie’s hacking incident because they believe [name_m]Jun[/name_m] didn’t want any actors or actresses with serious potential to work with his rival. [name_m]Jun[/name_m] is trying to make it as peaceful as possible — he just didn’t want to work for someone he didn’t like and he liked being in [name_u]South[/name_u] Korea better anyway. But the mysteries still live on.

Despite the rocky ending of his American directing career, [name_m]Jun[/name_m] still supports [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. He misses his brother after he chose to live in the States but doesn’t blame him as he would have done the same had different circumstances occurred. He’s also in support of Lily’s mother and older twin brothers and likes how smart and loving their family is. He knows [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] briefly from [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and doesn’t quite understand why he’s a suspect but reluctantly listens to the accusations but still thinks he’s the weakest link to [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] of the four, although he trusts [name_f]Lily[/name_f] isn’t the one who did it either. He knows [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] was bullied and has used acting to show her bullies that she is enough and she is capable of being who she wants to be and wouldn’t be surprised if her bully did it — they already have a prior negative connection.

Seo-jun “ [name_u]Max[/name_u] “ Jang [left] and Ha-joon “ [name_m]Howie[/name_m] “ Jang [right] (24) are Lily’s brothers. [name_m]Howie[/name_m] is an actor, but similar to his sister he’s never worked in a Netflix show, and [name_u]Max[/name_u] is an accountant- both support their sister’s dream and encourage [name_f]Lily[/name_f] to keep going, as do their parents- and they know [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would never sabotage her friend- [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] was like the sister [name_f]Lily[/name_f] never had, and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] was the one who taught [name_f]Lily[/name_f] to do makeup, too. [name_u]Max[/name_u] firmly believes that the bully from Elsie’s childhood is responsible for the hacking incident, but [name_m]Howie[/name_m] isn’t so sure, because he’s dating her. The bully is a homophobe and a racist, and an overall bad person, but Howie’s head over heels in love with her- she had a teen pregnancy at 15 and [name_m]Howie[/name_m] is determined to support his girlfriend no matter how mean she was in her past, as Howie’s a firm believer in second chances- [name_u]Max[/name_u] is known as the smart one and [name_m]Howie[/name_m] can be a bit airheaded at times, but the two love each other and try to help each other whenever they can.

[name_u]Max[/name_u] is also dating someone close to [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]- her older sister! [name_u]Max[/name_u] came out as bi around 6th grade, and [name_m]Howie[/name_m] (who’s a straight ally) was the first to know about it. [name_m]Howie[/name_m] loves Max’s girlfriend and thinks she’s super nice and funny, and he’s glad his brother is happy with her. The two are also acquainted with [name_u]Jules[/name_u], and they admire how she’s used her platform to lift up other AAPI creators. They’ve been briefly told about [name_u]Jules[/name_u] and her chemistry with her costar, and they both want to see them date in real life- [name_m]Howie[/name_m] often makes comments on how he ships them, and he and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] have come up with ship names. [name_u]Max[/name_u] has always been the more practical sibling, and [name_m]Howie[/name_m] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] have always been the crackhead duo who do crazy things- they often joke that [name_m]Howie[/name_m] gets them all into trouble, and Max’s fast thinking is what gets them out of trouble…

Huge warning: Unlikable character, my most unlikable character ever. She is a bigot and the bully of [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]. I’ve done bullies and villains before but never bigots and genuinely do not want to write a bigot and just doing it for the sake of completing the suspect portion of the mystery.

[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_f]Zeena[/name_f] [name_f]Vanity[/name_f] (24) is Howie’s girlfriend and disliked by [name_u]Max[/name_u]. Growing up, she was raised in an environment of bigots, getting her views. However she has had multiple instances where she could have changed, but was too set on her opinions to do so. A lot of her bigoted views came from how easy it was to just stereotype people which is why she stereotyped [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] as an emo despite her truly being a goth. She held lots of prejudice and wouldn’t listen to other sides. While she did have a teenage pregnancy, she put her child up for adoption because she couldn’t raise a child as a teenager — and shouldn’t raise a child ever. She’s not in contact with her child, who is now 9, and luckily; the adoptive parents are a safe, loving, and accepting duo. By the words of [name_u]Max[/name_u], “Marilyn can’t keep bringing the vicious cycle of bigotry around just because her family and ancestors did. The cycle needs to break. If [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] can’t do it for herself, she should at least do it for her child and if she won’t do it even then, then it’s best she’s not in her child’s life.”

[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] has always been a bully to [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] alongside other students, but [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] never stops. Elsie’s older sister stopped her in high school and in spite, [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] stopped only to continue during adult life. [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] herself has tried to get famous and instead of acting, she competed on reality shows. She wanted to act but truly had no acting talent. She and [name_m]Howie[/name_m] relate since they’ve never been on Netflix shows however [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] isn’t an actress and [name_m]Howie[/name_m] always reminds her (usually playfully) that she isn’t. However her fame turned to infamy when her bigoted social media posts came to light and once they saw she was always like this, she was canceled. Nobody wanted to associate with her. People who knew her were coming forward and saying she was every bad thing the media said she was. Anyone who was her friend unfriended her. She was banned from social media. [name_u]Max[/name_u] tried to warn [name_m]Howie[/name_m] not to date a canceled starlet but [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] convinced him not to and still dated him, although more secretly.

What [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] doesn’t know is that she could end up falling even further reputation-wise. [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_u]Jules[/name_u], and Elsie’s sister have formed a pact to find out who hacked [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] that day and are near-certain it was [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f]. To them, [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] clearly couldn’t take her rival about to have her big break while she was canceled even though she deserved it. [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] is believed to be the most likely guilty party and some even rumour she framed the others! But [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] isn’t about to let everyone say she did it and has an alibi: She was with her family on the day of the hacking. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean she’s innocent; she never stated what time in the day she was with them and likely they’ll back her up. She knows [name_m]Jun[/name_m] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] are family and will back each other up too and will mention this to anyone who doesn’t believe her alibi. She and [name_f]Tacy[/name_f] hardly know each other but she’s threatened to break [name_f]Tacy[/name_f] and her boyfriend up if [name_f]Tacy[/name_f] uses any suspicion against her. [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] knows [name_f]Tacy[/name_f], [name_m]Jun[/name_m], and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] have “no right to suspect” her as “they are suspects too” and “could be equally guilty”. [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] is firmly in belief of “innocent until proven guilty” even if she is a little too lowkey obsessed with finding ways it could be [name_f]Tacy[/name_f], [name_m]Jun[/name_m], or [name_f]Lily[/name_f], despite the fact that even if it was proven to be one of them and not her, she’d still stay canceled for her bigotry anyway. [name_u]Max[/name_u] and Elsie’s sister have grown closer from this investigation and are determined to get answers, but still have some down time to enjoy themselves as a couple. [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] isn’t sure about them dating and doesn’t like Elsie’s sister but [name_m]Howie[/name_m] is head-over-heels in support of them and will one day stand up to [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f].
